A processing server is disclosed. The server comprises a processor, a memory, and an application stored in the memory. The application when executed by the processor formats data into a data container, wherein the data is comprised of audio and video content of a movie. The application then writes metadata in to the data container, wherein the metadata identifies what processing has been done on the data and identifies algorithms that are applied to the data, and identifies a source location from which the data container is obtained, and identifies a plurality of different data containers with different versions of the audio or video content that have different processing or algorithms applied to them and the source locations from which the different data containers are obtained. The application then stores the data container in a data store, whereby the data container is sourced to playback devices.

System and method for movie digital content version control access during file delivery and playback

A wireless communication device maintains a communication contact. The wireless communication device receives media session quality data for the communication contact. The wireless communication device receives a request for a media session with the communication contact and responsively identifies estimated media session quality with the communication contact based on the media session quality data for the communication contact. The wireless communication device displays a session activation icon for the media session request that visually indicates the estimated media session quality for the media session with the communication contact. The wireless communication device receives a user selection of the session activation icon and responsively establishes the media session with the communication contact.

A method of provisioning a subordinate trusted security zone in a processor having a trusted security zone. The method comprises receiving by a master trusted application executing in a master trusted security zone of the processor a request to provision a subordinate trusted security zone in the processor, wherein the request comprises a master trusted security zone key, wherein the request designates the subordinate trusted security zone, and wherein the request defines an independent key. The method further comprises provisioning by the master trusted application the subordinate trusted security zone to be accessible based on the independent key.

A video conferencing system contains one or more display adjusting components, whereby an object to be displayed can be adjusted to appropriately fit various sized display screens. A display adjusting component is contained within the sending client, which adjusts the image of the object to be appropriately displayed to one or more receiving clients. The receiving clients also contain a display adjusting component, which can further adjust the image of the object to be displayed, as necessary. The multimedia conferencing server of the video conferencing system also contains a display adjusting component, which negotiates parameters of the sending and receiving clients. Any of the display adjusting components can function alone, or in any combination together. A method, and computer-readable media which contain computer-readable instructions to perform a method, of adjusting an image for video conference display are also described.

A processing server that builds metadata is disclosed. The server comprises a processor, a memory, and an application stored in the memory. The application when executed by the processor formats data into a data container, wherein the data comprises audio and video files of a movie. The application then builds metadata, wherein the metadata details what post-processing has been done on the data, wherein the metadata identifies what processing and algorithms are applied to the data and supports selection of data by a playback device. The application then writes metadata into the data container, wherein the playback device applies additional post-processing to the data in the data container based on the metadata.

Wireless communication systems may transfer communication status to a session icon that is displayed on a wireless communication device such as a smart phone, a tablet, a personal computer, a game console, a hand-held or wearable console, or other software processing device that has a wireless transceiver. A session quality server system obtains communication status data for a set of communication contacts. The session quality server system transfers the communication status data of the contact set over to the wireless communication device. Before a media session such as a voice call is established with a communication contact, the wireless communication device displays a session icon for that communication contact. The communication status of that contact is visually indicated in the session icon.

A method and corresponding system to help manage carrier-aggregation service in view of possible intermodulation distortion between component carriers. When a base station is serving a UE with carrier aggregation service on at least two component carriers, the base station determines that uplink communication on the two component carriers is likely to combine to produce an intermodulation product that falls within the downlink channel of one of the component carriers, and that the power level of that intermodulation product is likely to be threshold high. In response, the base station then modifies the set of component carriers on which the base station provides the UE with carrier aggregation service, to help reduce or avoid associated intermodulation distortion.

A method of prioritizing delivery to a mobile device for an audio album through a wireless network. The method comprises dividing, by a server computer, the audio album into two groups based on historical statistics of playback probability of a plurality of tracks of the audio album to be played next after a track that is being played, wherein tracks with a higher probability than a predefined threshold are placed in an immediate playback group, group 1, wherein tracks with a lower probability than the predefined threshold are placed in a later playback group, group 2.

Disclosed are a method, apparatus, and system for managing frequency use in a system while engaged in multiple communications. When a wireless communication device (WCD) is engaging in a first communication on a first frequency, the WCD receives a request for the WCD to engage in a second communication. Responsive to receiving the request, the WCD hands off the first communication from the first frequency to a second frequency and engages in the second communication on the first frequency. The method may thereby help to reduce likelihood of interference.

A method and corresponding system to help maintain continuity of service level for a client device, such as where the client device is being served by an access network in accordance with a set of policy rules and the client device is going to stop being served by that access network and may then be served by another network.
