A user's travel is securely monitored using user-configured secure travel monitoring constraints within a secure travel profile. The user-configured secure travel monitoring constraints granularly specify controls related to user travel privacy and authorized release of travel information to a user-specified trusted third party in association with the user's travel, in addition to specifying a planned travel route and a planned travel time frame. A route deviation by the user relative to the planned travel route or planned travel time frame is detected during the secure monitoring of the user's travel. A user-configured level of travel information authorized by the user to be released to the user-specified trusted third party within a traveler safety alert responsive to the route deviation is determined based upon the user-configured secure travel monitoring constraints. The traveler safety alert with the user-configured level of travel information is sent to the user-specified trusted third party.

Confidential route monitoring with traveler-configured traveler safety alerts

Embodiments relate to use of proximity sensors to control a digital interface. More specifically, proximity detection and analysis of the sensors, and translating the proximity into one or more commands is utilized to control the interface. In various embodiments, a system is provided with a set of sensors operatively coupled to a secondary surface. The sensors are in communication with a hub positioned proximal to the sensors. The hub is configured to be in communication with a remote interface. Similarly, the remote interface is configured operatively coupled to a remote physical device (e.g. digital interface). As changes in the sensor position data are measured, the remote interface device communicates an action based on a set of rules. The action is communicated from the interface to the remote physical device and functions to physically transform a functional aspect of the device.

Dynamic display of hierarchical data in the form of a treemap. A first instance of an object representation is selected in a first visualization of a hierarchy encoded by containment. A second instance of the object representation is designated, wherein each instance is a tier for object occupation. An object within the hierarchy is displayed as a shape comprising at least two opposing surfaces, and the object is selected through the opposing surfaces. The hierarchy is dynamically re-ordered in response to the selection and designation, and the second representation of the hierarchy is displayed based on the dynamic re-ordering.

Treemap perspective manipulation

Mechanisms for generating a cognitive traits avatar are provided. The mechanisms analyze a portion of content submitted by a user to extract features of the portion of content. The mechanisms map the extracted features to one or more cognitive traits and select an image corresponding to the one or more cognitive traits. The mechanisms further generate a cognitive traits avatar comprising the selected image and cognitive traits data defining a graphical representation of the one or more cognitive traits for output in association with the selected image. The cognitive traits avatar is output as part of an interaction of the user with another entity, or representation of another entity, via a computing device.

In an approach for exposing fragment identifiers within an information resource, a processor receives a markup language document of an information resource. A processor identifies a fragment identifier within the markup language document and a location within the information resource corresponding to the fragment identifier.
