Embodiments provide a strip gasket with one or more adhesive strips on the gasket. The strip gasket resists stretching because a non-stretchable carrier is located within an adhesive strip on the gasket which helps prevent the gasket from being stretched. The strip gasket is also able to create a tight seal when it is installed against a desired surface. This tight seal prevents water and other particulate matter from passing around the strip gasket.

Embodiments of the invention provide a hinge apparatus that can include a hinge body having a first portion and a second portion and a hinge pin. The hinge pin can include an axial portion and a gripping portion. The hinge body can include a recess in one of the first portion and the second portion. The recess in the hinge body can receive the gripping portion of the hinge pin to inhibit access to the gripping portion when the hinge body is in the closed position. The gripping portion can be removed from the recess as the hinge body is moved to the open position.

Embodiments of the invention provide a hinge system and method for use with an electrical enclosure. The hinge system can include a first mounting plate having a bushing and a second mounting plate having an aperture. The hinge system can include a pin having a first portion received by the bushing and a second portion selectively received by the aperture. The hinge system can include a cam lever, which can extend from the first mounting plate at an angle. The cam lever can be moveable between a first position to retract the pin from the aperture and a second position to lock the pin in the aperture. The cam lever can be operable in a substantially single plane of motion.

A shelf includes a first shelf section and a second shelf section that slidingly fits with the first shelf section such that the first shelf section and second shelf section are configured to form a shelf surface having a usable shelf surface area that is variable.

Embodiments of the invention provide a vertical cable manager for routing cables or wires. The vertical cable manager includes a vertical trough with sets of fingers. The fingers include arrow-shaped ends, which allow installation and/or removal of cables and wires, while retaining the cables and wires in cable rings. In some embodiments, a door attached to the vertical cable manager can be removable from one or both sides of the trough. In some embodiments, the vertical cable manager can include removable spools that can be attached to the trough in various positions and configurations.

Embodiments of the invention provide a horizontal cable manager. A horizontal base can include a first molded section and an identical second molded section adapted to be coupled together. The horizontal cable manager can include a plurality of fingers extending from each one of the first molded section and the second molded section. The fingers can include a shaft and an arrow-shaped end. The arrow-shaped end can include a first triangular member and a second triangular member each coupled to opposite sides of the shaft at a first distance away from a distal end of the shaft. The horizontal cable manager can include hinge supports with a cover removably coupled to the hinge supports. The horizontal base can include an attachment hole, a first extension, and a second wing extension for temporary attachment to an electronic equipment rack.

A blanking panel includes a main body extending from a first end to a second end and adapted to cover a rack having at least two posts, a fastener portion at the end of each of the first and the second ends, and an alignment member at the end of each of the first end and the second end, the alignment feature including a first pin and a second, removable pin such that the main body can be alternatively attached to a square hole with the removable pin intact, or attached to a round hole with the removable pin removed and the first pin extending through the hole.

An enclosure includes a back enclosure unit, a front enclosure unit hinged to the back enclosure unit, a rod coupled to the front enclosure unit, and a spring latch coupled to the back enclosure unit, wherein the rod engages the spring latch when the front enclosure unit is closed upon the back enclosure unit.

A restructurable enclosure having a plurality of mounting blocks which are secured to the body of the enclosure at various spaced locations around and adjacent the outer peripheral portions of the door and wall panel openings therein. Each of the mounting blocks includes a plurality of threaded bores in the bottom surface thereof which communicate with openings in the enclosure body to facilitate permanent mounting of such blocks to the enclosure, and to facilitate attachment of sub-panels and other assemblies within the interior thereof, without obstructing the same. Each block also includes a pair of threaded or open bores extending inward from its outer mounting surface to facilitate mounting of the enclosure door or various wall panels to the enclosure solely from the exterior of the enclosure, without the need for accessing the interior thereof. The mounting blocks are arranged such that a door panel connected thereto can be easily removed with its hinges intact and reversibly remounted from the outside of the enclosure without moving or adding any additional parts. The door and various wall panels which are mounted to such blocks are also readily interchangeable, if desired, since the mounting blocks are cooperatively mounted in similar positions on both the front and rear sides of the enclosure.

A multifaceted modular enclosure frame which is constructed of a latticework of identical cross-sectionally configured frame sections that include an inherent integrally formed guide system for proper installation and positioning of sub-panel mounting boards within the enclosure. Each frame section defines an interiorly disposed guide channel and mounting flange, an exteriorly disposed corner flange, and an exteriorly disposed flange trough, while maintaining an open design and a cross-sectional configuration which mates cooperatively with other identically configured frame sections to provide an integral mitered corner which is devoid of separate corner adapter inserts. The interiorly disposed guide channel provides the integral guide system for the sub-panel mounting boards which are received within the enclosure. Each corner flange defined by such frame sections provides an exterior surface upon which mounting blocks are carried to provide for complete external connection of enclosure wall panels thereto. The exteriorly disposed flange trough provides a sealing surface for such wall panels and prevents liquids from pooling up against, and deteriorating, the enclosure gaskets.
