Techniques for context-aware recommendations of relevant presentation content are disclosed. In some configurations, the techniques involve the processing of contextual data from one or more resources to dynamically direct a presentation. A computing device can receive contextual data from one or more resources. The contextual data can be processed to select one or more sections of content data, e.g., a slide of a slide deck or a page of document. The computing device can then cause a display of the one or more sections on one or more devices. In some configurations, a hardware display surface can be configured to provide a real-world view of an object, e.g., a model or other item that may be related to the presentation, through the hardware display surface while also providing a display of the one or more sections of the presenter's material.

Context-aware recommendations of relevant presentation content displayed in mixed environments

Embodiments that relate to displaying a computer generated image to a viewer via a stereoscopic display system are disclosed. One disclosed embodiment comprises establishing a predetermined threshold distance from an eye of a viewer to a threshold displayed position of a computer generated image. The method includes determining that a vergence distance from the eye of the viewer to a current displayed position of the image is at or below the predetermined threshold distance. Based on the vergence distance being at or below the predetermined threshold distance, a size of the image is increased while maintaining the vergence distance at the predetermined threshold distance as the eye of the viewer moves toward the image.

Stereoscopic image display

A method for controlling an artificial-intelligence (AI) character includes entering a command mode which enables control of the AI character, and occurs while substantially maintaining an existing display of the game, thereby preserving the immersive experience of the video game for the player. A plurality of locations are sequentially specified within a virtual space of the game, the plurality of locations defining a path for the AI character. The AI character is moved along the path to the plurality of locations in the order they were specified. The plurality of locations may be specified by maneuvering a reticle, and selecting each of the locations. A node can be displayed in the existing display of the game at each of the plurality of locations. A series of lines connecting the nodes can also be displayed in the existing display of the game.
