A magnetic electrical switch apparatus includes: a switch assembly that includes: a switch body housing including a stationary contact; a shaft configured to move relative to the switch body housing, the shaft including: a moveable contact; and a first magnet; and a movable support member including a second magnet. The moveable contact and the first magnet are configured to move with the shaft. Moving the movable support member moves the second magnet relative to the first magnet, and a magnetic interaction between the second magnet and the first magnet moves the moveable contact relative to the stationary contact to thereby change a state of the switch assembly.

A submersible electrical enclosure is for a switchgear assembly. The switchgear assembly includes a number of electrical switching apparatus. The submersible electrical enclosure includes: a plurality of sides defining an interior, the interior receiving each of the electrical switching apparatus, each side including: a conductive polymeric layer facing away from the interior, and an insulative polymeric layer molded to the conductive polymeric layer. The insulative polymeric layer faces the interior and substantially overlays the conductive polymeric layer.

Method of manufacturing a submersible electrical enclosure for a switchgear assembly

A housing assembly for a network transformer primary disconnect assembly is provided. The housing assembly includes a visible break assembly and a number of sidewalls defining an enclosed space. The visible break assembly includes a number of viewing windows in at least one sidewall. The viewing windows are aligned with one of a contact assembly interface or a movable contact assembly distal end in the open, first position.

A support assembly is for an electrical system. The electrical system includes a network protector and a number of disconnect switches coupled to the network protector. The support assembly includes: an insulative mounting member coupled to each of the disconnect switches; a number of base assemblies each including a housing assembly and a stand assembly disposed on the housing assembly, the housing assembly being coupled to the insulative mounting member; and a lifting apparatus disposed on each of the base assemblies. The lifting apparatus moves each of the insulative mounting member and the housing assembly in a direction transverse to the stand assembly.
