The present disclosure provides a turbocharger which reduces noise generated from the wastegate. The turbocharger includes a turbocharger housing, a rotary assembly, and a wastegate door. The turbocharger housing defines a wastegate opening, a resonator proximate to the wastegate opening, a compressor inlet, a compressor outlet, a turbine inlet, and a turbine outlet. The rotary assembly includes a turbine and a compressor attached to one another by a shaft wherein the rotary assembly is disposed in the turbocharger housing. The wastegate door may be moveably affixed to the turbocharger housing.

Turbocharger with a wastegate noise reduction device

A condensation dispersion device for a turbocharged vehicle engine includes a valve body, a movable valve, and a biasing means. The movable valve and biasing means are disposed within the valve body. The valve body defines a valve seat within the valve body, and includes an inlet and an outlet. The movable valve defines an engagement feature operatively configured to engage with the valve seat when the movable valve is in a first position. The biasing means is operatively configured to urge the movable valve to a second position when the pressure in the intake manifold is equal to or greater than atmospheric pressure.

Condensate dispersion assembly

A manifold assembly includes a clevis-style mounting structure, a first manifold section, a second manifold section, an accessory disposed between the first and second manifold sections, and a plurality of threaded clevis fasteners. The clevis-style mounting structure includes an upper clevis structure and a lower threaded clevis structure. The clevis-style mounting structure may be operatively configured to be mounted on a cylinder head. The first manifold section has distal and proximal ends. The first manifold section is integral to the clevis style mounting structure. The plurality of threaded clevis fasteners operatively configured to mount the clevis-style mounting structure to a cylinder head via a plurality of corresponding passageways defined in the cylinder head.

Manifold assembly

An external thermal heat-stake arrangement includes a polymeric base member having a collared heat-stake having an inner diameter and a second member disposed within the inner diameter of the collared heat-stake. The collared heat-stake is operatively configured to be deformed by a heated element to retain at least a portion of a peripheral edge of the second member to the polymeric base member.
