In various examples, a system includes a steerable medical device including a handle including a longitudinal axis. An elongate shaft extends distally from the handle. The elongate shaft includes a distal tip and a lumen through the elongate shaft. At least four pullwires are disposed within the handle and extending to and anchored proximate the distal tip of the elongate shaft. At least two actuators are associated with the handle. The at least two actuators are operably coupled to the at least four pullwires with actuation of the first actuator causing tension in the first or second pullwire to deflect the distal tip in a first or second tip direction, respectively, and actuation of the second actuator causing tension in the third or fourth pullwire to deflect the distal tip in a third or fourth tip direction, respectively.

Scaffold loading and delivery systems

A first tubular body having a first longitudinal axis extending centrally through the tubular body includes at least one delivery port extending through a wall of the first tubular body. A second tubular body having a second longitudinal axis extends through the second tubular body, the first and second longitudinal axes being displaced from each other such that an asymmetrical longitudinally extending gap is formed between an outer surface of the second tubular body and an interior surface of the first tubular body. A temperature sensor forming a thermocouple extending longitudinally within the gap between the first tubular body and the second tubular body. An inner core is positioned within the second tubular body. The inner core includes least one ultrasound element.

Ultrasound catheter

A control system for a steerable thrusting device is disclosed comprising a mobile device and application which interface with an electronic controller to command the output power and directional heading of the steerable thrusting device. In at least one embodiment, the mobile device serves the functions of a mapping and input device that communicates bi-directionally with a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and direction device-equipped electronic controller, which in turn controls the power and heading of the thrusting device on a marine vessel. Data can be stored on the mobile device or procured in real-time via network access to a dedicated database and communicated to the electronic controller in order to execute specific functions of the thrusting device control system. The data created in the control system is capable of being shared amongst similar devices via the use of a cloud network.

Oral dosing device and method

An improved automatic jigging device comprising a motorized wheel having cutouts of a multitude of geometric shapes, sizes, and textures, a support arm with a fulcrum, and a jigging arm with a clamp for holding a fishing line. The fulcrum is inserted into the cutout and the rotational movement of the wheel transfers the movement to the fulcrum. The movement of the fulcrum is transferred to the clamp through the support arm and the jigging arm. The clamp holding the fishing line transfers the irregular, life-like movement to the fishing line. Throughout the fishing experience, the type of irregular, life-like movement of the fishing line may be changed by inserting the fulcrum into a cutout with a different geometric shape, size, and texture.

Apparatus and method for automatically jigging a fishing line

A harsh environment robot end effector includes an end effector frame connectable to a material handling robot, one or more pickup arms rotatingly coupled to the frame, and pickup arm airbag actuator air bags for opening and closing the pickup arms. One or more positioning palms may be provided, which are rotatingly coupled to the end effector frame and provided with actuator air bags for opening and closing. One or more adjustable pushdowns having airbags attached to their heads are provided to grip a load between the pushdown and pickup arm. A mechanical synchronizer may be provided to couple the pickup arms.

Harsh environment robot end effector

A bird feeding system may include a platform that is sized and configured to catch at least a portion of the bird feed that may fall from a bird feeder. The platform may include a frame and a catching portion, which may have a permeable construction. The frame may be configured to be moved between a collapsed position for storage and an expanded position for use. Advantageously, the platform may be connected to different types and configurations of bird feeders and/or other structures using attachment members that are adjustable in length.

A grilling implement and method of use thereof, the grilling implement comprising at least one hook having a tip, a shaft and a heel. The shaft and heel lie coplanar, and the tip curves upward out of the plane of the shaft and heel such that the hook can be passed under the tines of a grill grate, and the tip thereof maneuvered over the grill tines to securely hold the grate. The grilling implement further comprises at least one bar lying coplanar with the heel and shaft of the hook, wherein the bar supports the grill grate when rotated under the tines of the grate. The grilling implement can also be utilized to maneuver charcoal briquettes or break apart natural charcoal logs.
