An agricultural system that includes a towable agricultural implement. The towable agricultural implement includes a tow bar assembly. A wing tool bar pivotally couples to the tow bar assembly or to a work vehicle. The wing tool bar is configured to transition between a deployed configuration and a retracted configuration. A plurality of row units attach to the wing tool bar. An implement protection system detects an obstruction in a path of the towable agricultural implement. The implement protection system includes a proximity sensor coupled to the towable agricultural implement. The proximity sensor emits a proximity signal indicative of the obstruction. A controller couples to the proximity sensor and receives the proximity signal indicative of the obstruction and emits a warning signal.

A system for monitoring wear on ground engaging tools of an agricultural implement includes a ground engaging tool supported relative to a frame of the agricultural implement, the ground engaging tool configured to rotate with engagement of the ground during operation of the agricultural implement, a non-contact sensor configured to detect a parameter indicative of wear on the ground engaging tool, and a controller communicatively coupled to the non-contact sensor. The controller is configured to determine a status of the wear on the ground engaging tool based on sensor data received from the non-contact sensor.

System and method for monitoring the wear on a rotating ground engaging tool of an agricultural implement

In one embodiment, an agricultural implement system includes a row unit, the row unit configured to dispose seed into a ground trench, and closing system corresponding to the row unit, the closing system configured to close the ground trench after disposition of the seed. The agricultural implement system further includes a double acting cylinder mechanically coupled to the closing system, the double acting cylinder comprising a cylinder side port and a rod side port and a fluid source fluidly coupled to the cylinder side port and configured to provide a cylinder side fluid. The agricultural implement system additionally includes a filter fluidly coupled to the rod side port. Filtered fluid enters the double acting cylinder via the rod side port.

An agricultural implement includes an electrically conducive ground engagement tool with an opening and a sensor having a first and second conductor. An insulative material extends around a periphery of the opening to a contact area, and a conductive material fills the opening and extends to the contact area to electrically couple the conductive material to the ground engagement tool. The first conductor electrically couples to the conductive material, and the second conductor electrically couples to the ground engagement tool. A controller may receive a signal from the sensor indicative of an electrical resistance between the first and second conductors, determine the ground engagement tool has worn past a threshold amount in response to receiving the sensor signal indicative of the electrical resistance being above a threshold value, and output an output signal in response to determining the ground engagement tool has worn past the threshold amount.

Each marking device includes at least one arm configured for pivoting between a stored position and an operational position, and a retention device supported by the toolbar and configured for providing a magnetic retention force which magnetically retains the at least one arm in the stored position.

An agricultural implement system includes a row unit configured to dispose seed into a ground trench, and a closing system corresponding to the row unit configured to close the ground trench after disposition of the seed. The agricultural implement system further includes a double acting cylinder mechanically coupled to the closing system. The double acting cylinder comprises a cylinder side port, a rod side port, and a fluid source fluidly coupled to the cylinder side port and configured to provide a cylinder side fluid. The agricultural implement system additionally includes an inlet filter fluidly coupled to the rod side port and configured to filter fluid entering the double acting cylinder via the rod side port.

A quick coupling for a flexible tube has an outer annular element with a bayonet connection and a central bore which receives an annular insert having two arcuate sections and holding the flexible tube in place through barbs. The inserts are removable from the outer annular coupling by means of a detent at which point the arcuate sections may be easily removed from the flexible tube.

A row crop planter has a pneumatic system for conveying seeds to individual row units employing three-way splitters above certain master row units for supplying seed to each master row unit and a pair of associated slave row units. Each three-row splitter has an upper inlet chamber of annular shape with an offset inlet coupled to a conveying hose for receiving an air entrained seed flow, and an annular passageway extending downwardly from the inlet chamber to an outlet for delivering seeds to the master unit below. A pair of laterally extending slave outlet conduits extend obliquely upward and each has a jumper hose connecting with an adjacent slave unit. The flow circulating within the annular region allows seeds to fall downwardly and air to spiral upwardly into a supplemental air conduit. An air bypass passageway conveys air flow from the supplemental air conduit toward the slave outlet conduits.

A two-point hitch system includes an attachment assembly configured to attach the two-point hitch system to a towable implement. The two-point hitch system further includes a mount member mechanically coupled to the attachment assembly. The two-point hitch system additionally includes two rotatable ends rotatably coupled to the mount member; wherein each of the two rotatable ends comprise a removable fastener configured to attach the two-point hitch system to a towing vehicle via the two rotatable ends.

An agricultural implement system includes a tow bar configured to couple to a hitch assembly. The agricultural implement system also includes a tool bar pivot hinge assembly comprising two pivot points. The agricultural implement system additionally includes a first tool bar member mechanically coupled to a second tool bar member via the tool bar pivot hinge assembly; the first tool bar member extending transversely from the tow bar, wherein the tool bar pivot hinge assembly provides for an axis of rotation of the second tool bar member about the first tool bar member and additionally provides for an extension of the second tool bar member away from the first tool bar member.

A mounting device for tubular elements includes a base having a curved surface and a slot for connecting to and being mounted on an existing tubular structural element. The base has a plurality of radially extending fingers forming semi-circular recesses between them. Projections within the recesses having a width less than the width of the mounting device deform a multiplicity of tubular elements such as hydraulic air or water lines to be removably inserted and held within the semi-circular recesses.
