An oscillating target includes a base, a stand, and a pendulum. The base includes an electromagnetic coil and a power source. The stand is fixedly coupled to the base and the pendulum is rotatably supported by the stand. The pendulum includes a permanent magnet arranged opposite a target face. The permanent magnet is arranged on the pendulum at a position nearest to the base. The power source is configured to selectively operate the electromagnetic coil to generate a magnetic field to affect the permanent magnet to rotate the pendulum and thereby move the target face.

A mirror assembly () has a housing () that houses a mirrored reflecting surface () for enabling a person in a driver's compartment of a vehicle cab () to look through a side door window opening () and see a field of view toward the rear of the vehicle. The mirror assembly mounting () includes a mounting bar () that is attached to the side door, that has a length running along the top margin of the door, and that along at least a portion of that length comprises an upwardly open channel () for collecting rainwater runoff from the roof and carrying it rearward before the runoff can wash across the window opening.

A front bumper for a mobile vehicle that rotates to provide additional access to the vehicle engine. The rotating front bumper is provided in various embodiments, exemplifying possible modes of configuration and operation thereof. Specifically, methods of retaining the front bumper in a non-rotated position are presented, as are methods for preventing over-extension, and linkages that cause the front bumper to rotate when the hood is opened.

Each of the novel aerodynamic grille bars of the fluid inlet grille is constructed in such a manner that along a majority of its length its transverse cross section has a maximum width greater than its trailing edge width.

An access hatch reinforcement module and a method of assembling an access hatch to an existing engine compartment hood of a vehicle. The access hatch reinforcement module includes a wall engagement component for engagement to the hood outer wall of the engine compartment hood. The access hatch reinforcement module further includes a door engagement component for engagement to a hatch door of the access hatch. The wall engagement component and the door engagement component of the access hatch reinforcement module are directly fixedly engaged to one another by temporary fixed engagements. The wall engagement component and the door engagement component are also indirectly engaged to one another through operational door connecting components such as a hinge component. The wall engagement component and the door engagement component are engaged to the hood outer wall and the portion of the hood outer wall that is engaged to the door engagement component is separated from the portion of the hood outer wall that is engaged to the wall engagement component. Thereafter the hatch door, which is comprised of what was the portion of the hood outer wall that was engaged to the door engagement component, is supported in a properly aligned manner within a newly formed hatch opening.
