An article cushion is provided, including a body formed from a resilient material and an elongate channel defined in the body. At least one openable bracket has a pair of pliable, openable arms that terminate in a receiving gap. The receiving gap has a width smaller than a cross-section of the clasp. The clasp is insertable transversely through the receiving gap when the openable arms are in a splayed configuration, with the openable arms securing the clasp therebetween when the open arms are in a relaxed configuration. At least one closed bracket has a pair of pliable, closed arms that terminate in a restraining area. The restraining area is sized and shaped to prevent transverse insertion or extraction of the clasp through the restraining area, the clasp being axially moveable through closed arms when the closed arms are in a relaxed configuration.

Article cushioning interface and related methods

A system is provided for positioning and securing one or more article holders to a vehicle, the system including a base, removably coupleable to a component of a vehicle, carrying one or more base rotational interlock features. A rotationally adjustable dial carries one or more dial rotational interlock features and one or more dial translational interlock features. The rotationally adjustable dial can be restrained by the collective rotational interlock features from rotational movement relative to the base. An article holder support carries one or more support translational interlock features and includes an attachment interface for an article holder. The article holder support is thereby translationally adjustable within the dial translational interlock feature but is restrained from rotational movement relative to the base.

An articulated article holder comprises an attachment base, configured to be attached to a support structure or to a component of a vehicle. A holding member is configured to receive and hold an article therein, the holding member being coupled to the attachment base and including two generally upright arms which collectively define a containment area therebetween. At least one of the upright arms includes an articulated joint formed or integrated therein to allow at least one segment of the arm to move between at least two differing positions.

A mounting bracket for use in mounting an auxiliary device to a vehicle comprises an engagement section, operable to engage a section of the vehicle to limit movement of the bracket relative to the section of the vehicle. The engagement section includes at least two engagement channels having differing directions of extension. Each of the at least two channels includes an engagement surface shaped to at least partially receive therein the section of the vehicle. A plurality of engagement teeth extend from each of the engagement surfaces, the plurality of engagement teeth being operable to engage the section of the vehicle to limit movement of the body relative to the section of the vehicle.

A cushioned holder device for holding articles includes an attachment base, configured to be attached to a support structure and a holding member configured to receive and hold an article therein. The holding member is coupled to the attachment base and includes two generally upright arms which collectively define a containment area therebetween. A cushion is associated with the holder at a lower portion of the containment area to provide a cushioned interface between the article and the holder. The cushion includes an upper contact surface and an opposing lower contact surface, with an intermediate riser extending therebetween.

Mounting bracket

A mounting device for use with ATVs that can be semi-permanently attached to an ATV to allow an operator to attach and detach auxiliary items to the device, and correspondingly, to the ATV. The device includes a receiving socket to temporarily receive an adapter, the receiving socket including a maintaining means for maintaining the adapter in the socket and allow the user to quickly secure and release the adapter, and a mounting assembly, coupled to the upper receiving socket and configured to be attached to the ATV. Using a plurality of adapters, each having an auxiliary item attached, provides a mounting system for quickly interchanging auxiliary items and securing them to the ATV with minimum effort.

An offset holding device configured to be attached to a support structure and to carry elongate objects, including an attachment base configured to be attached to the support structure. A holding member can be attached to the attachment base and can include a generally &ldquo;U&rdquo;-shaped member having two upright arms and can be open at the top so as to define a containment area configured to receive the elongate object. A plurality of resilient gripping teeth can extend from at least one of the upright arms into the containment area, the gripping teeth being configured to at least partially deflect upon insertion of the elongate object into the holding member to releasably secure the elongate object within the containment area.

An offset utility holding device configured to be attached to a cargo rack of a vehicle and to carry elongated objects includes a support base for attachment to a cargo rack of a vehicle, an offset mounting stem extending upwardly from the support base at an incline, and a holding member disposed atop the offset mounting stem. The holding member includes a &ldquo;U&rdquo;-shaped containment area having two upright arms which are open at the top for receiving an elongate object therein. The offset mounting stem places the holding member away from a cargo space directly above the cargo rack, such that the elongate object does not interfere with the cargo space.

Pressing on the locking tab ( ) pushes it out of the way so that the male dovetail section ( ) of the item holding device ( ) can be manually removed from the female dovetail angled surfaces ( ) of the mounting base ( ). The item holding device ( ) comprises a &ldquo;U&rdquo;-shaped cradle ( ) having a series of &ldquo;V&rdquo;-shaped cradle interior members ( ) made of a relatively soft and deformable rubber material so as to readily deform against the weight of an item placed in the cradle member ( ), thereby intending to grasp onto the item to help retain the item within the cradle member. The cradle member ( ) also includes a resilient rubber locking strap ( ) for stretching over and locking against the outside cradle member in order to retain the item placed therein.
