A dual fan system includes a first fan that produces a first airflow, and a second fan that produces a second airflow. An air duct includes first and second nozzles, and first and second channels. The first channel directs the first airflow into an area between the first and second nozzles. The second channel directs the second airflow into the area between the first and second nozzles. The first and second airflows combine in the second nozzle to create an output airflow.

The orchestrator receives reports of changes in a context of operation of the IHS by a user and. Based on the context, the orchestrator determines power allocations for the two or more discrete processors, where the power allocations are mapped to the reported user context. The orchestrator configures the power that is available for use by each of the two or more discrete processors of the heterogeneous computing platform, and thus adjusts the performance of the processors in response to the change in user context.

An information handling system having a display magnetically couples a peripheral camera to the display with a ferromagnetic material disposed behind the display and a magnet included in the camera housing. A metallic inner frame couples a camera assembly at one end of a cylindrical housing and the magnet is at an opposing end. A thermal spreader of thermally conductive material has at tapered conical shape with substantially two degrees of taper before assembly into the cylindrical housing. Insertion of the tapered thermal spreader compress the larger circumference to press the thermal spreader uniformly out and against an inner surface of the cylindrical housing.

In an illustrative, non-limiting embodiment, an Information Handling System (IHS) may include a heterogeneous computing platform having a plurality of devices and a memory coupled to the heterogeneous computing platform, where the memory comprises firmware instructions that, upon execution by at least one of the plurality of devices, causes the at least one device to operate as an orchestrator configured to: in response to a determination that a current power level used by a selected device exceeds a peak power limit, restrict an amount of power used by the selected device; in response to detection of a peripheral device coupled to the IHS, reduce the peak power limit; and in response to a determination that the current power level exceeds the reduced peak power limit, further restrict the amount of power used by the selected device.

The second set of permanent magnets and third set of permanent magnets repel the first set of permanent magnets to suspend the plurality of fan blades between the top chassis cover and bottom chassis cover.

An information handling system (IHS) includes an ion emitter/collector blower cooling system including an ion emitter and an ion collector, the ion emitter/collector blower system being placed at a location within a chassis of the IHS vertically lower than the hardware processor in the chassis. The IHS includes an ionic driving circuit operatively coupled to the ion emitter via a high voltage to ionize gases within the ion emitter/collector blower housing and create charged ions that generate an airflow along a voltage field to and through an ion collector. The IHS includes an air inlet vent located below the ion emitter/collector and formed in a back surface of the chassis of the IHS and an air exhaust vent located at an upper exhaust vent location above the ion collector within the chassis of the IHS so that the airflow is brought into the chassis of the IHS via the ion emitter/collector cooling system and out of the air exhaust vent where a location of the air inlet vent relative to the upper exhaust vent location of the air exhaust vent in the chassis of the IHS in a vertical orientation provides convection-enhanced airflow.
