A portable system that provides audio to video displays or monitors includes a bezel with integrated speakers and integrated channels that slide onto the bezel of the monitors. The bezel with integrated speakers does not increase the lateral footprint of the monitor.

Slide-on speaker assembly

A sub-notebook computer is combined with an integrated wireless telephone. The overall size including the telephone is only two-thirds the size of a conventional notebook computer. This device seamlessly combines the function of a laptop computer with the function of a cellular phone. By integrating the telephone and the computer, the user can transfer wireless data much more easily. No cables or synchronization is required. The user has the benefit of using the larger display and keyboard of the computer instead of the miniature display and keyboard of the telephone. These features greatly expand the capability of the telephone in retrieving and accessing wireless data through the Internet.

A keyboard for a small, portable computing device includes a pair of mating sections that can be folded together after they are pulled apart. The sections are releasably held together by a spring and by a sliding attachment structure that holds them in alignment. When the sections are pulled away from one another to release the sliding attachment structure, they are held together by a pivoting sliding attachment structure that allows folding.
