An integrated storage system for vehicles includes an expandable container secured to and extendable from a vertical panel of the vehicle to at least one predetermined position to accommodate cargo. The container is collapsible so that it is substantially flush with the vertical panel when not in use and may be made of fabric or netting, for example. A semi-rigid end panel with a handle may be secured to the container to facilitate deploying and stowing the container. Depending on the application, the container may be removable from the vehicle to transport cargo. The storage system may be integrated into various locations including a cargo area, behind a seat or seats, in a truck bed, or in the trunk of a vehicle, for example.

Integrated expandable cargo system for vehicles

Disclosed are a retractable tie-down cord assembly and a removable tie-down assembly for securing cargo in the cargo area of a station wagon, utility vehicle, mini van or the like. In one embodiment the tie-down cord assemblies also provides for a tie-down cords to be stored in the interior side wall of the vehicle and the tie-down cord hooks to be stored on the interior side wall of the vehicle and positioned so as to be available as utility hooks within the cargo area.

Integrated retractable cargo tie-down

A modular overhead console assembly and headliner combination for a vehicle includes a structural member having an upper surface attachable to a vehicle roof and a lower surface having a slot including at least one receiving surface formed through the structural member. At least one accessory module having a storage area defined within a housing to retain materials is removably secured to the at least one receiving surface associated with the slot in the headliner by at least one arm extending from a top surface of the housing of the at least one module. A method of assembling the overhead console and headliner combination is also provided.

Modular overhead console assembly

A modular overhead console assembly for attachment to a vehicle roof which can be formed by attaching a plurality of modules having different controls and convenience packages. Preferably, the console assembly includes a main console and at least one wing portion. The main console is attached to the roof and extends longitudinally along the roof. The wing portion extends from a side of the main console towards a lateral edge of the roof. The wing portion is positioned behind and adjacent a visor pivotally attached to the roof.
