The present disclosure relates to compositions and methods of using the compositions for treating a floor surface. The disclosed compositions clean the floor surface, repair damage, or maintain the original look of the floor. The disclosed compositions also do not provide a permanent finish on the floor, are temporary coatings, or do not significantly change the gloss of the floor after application.

Compositions and method for floor cleaning or restoration

Compositions and methods for improved cleaning using neutral cleaners are disclosed. In particular, neutral pH cleaning compositions according to the invention employ a synergistic combination of water insoluble surfactants and an anionic hydrotropes capable of forming a stable, low-foaming solution. The neutral cleaning solutions provide significant benefits over water insoluble microemulsions traditionally used for neutral cleaning compositions and provide at least equivalent cleaning efficacy as non-neutral cleaning compositions.

Neutral floor cleaner

A cleaning composition includes a fatty acid salt constituting up to about 50% by weight of the composition, an anti-slip agent constituting up to about 20% by weight of the composition, a soil resistant agent constituting up to about 20% by weight of the composition and water. Methods of cleaning coated and uncoated surfaces, and particularly stone surfaces, are also provided.
