A timepiece according to the present invention includes a decorative body that operates stably and intricately. The timepiece further includes a main plate provided with external teeth extending in a circular-arc shape with a central axis O as a center and a rotating plate rotatable around the central axis O with respect to the main plate The timepiece further includes a first gear rotatably supported on the rotating plate and a transmission gear train rotatably supported on the rotating plate, meshing with the external teeth and the first gear. The transmission gear train is configured to transmit, to the first gear, rotation of the main plate with respect to the rotating plate The timepiece further includes a first front decorative body non-rotatably connected to the first gear and displaceable with respect to the rotating plate.

A timepiece includes three types of decorative plates. A first type of decorative plate includes numbers from 1 to 12 indicative of time in hours and is rotatable around a central axis of the time piece. A second type of decorative plate includes a plurality of second type of plate pieces collectively rotatable relative to the first type of decorative plate and each rotatable around its respective axis. The third type of decorative plate includes a plurality of third type of plate pieces collectively rotatable relative to the central axis of the timepiece and each movable radially with respect to the central axis of the timepiece.

A timepiece that provides a wide variety of appearance. The timepiece includes: an ornamental body; a drive mechanism that moves the ornamental body; a restriction portion that restricts a movable range of the ornamental body; and an output portion capable of outputting a sound. The timepiece further includes a monitor operation portion; and a control portion that performs movement control for outputting a piece of theme music and moves the ornamental body from an initial position, depending on the operation of the monitor operation portion.

Timepiece with a wide variety of appearances

A timepiece, which includes a base board made of any of ABS resin, AS resin, and PS resin, and further includes a projection portion; a rotary board made of any of ABS resin, AS resin, and PS resin, and rotatable about and relative to the projection portion; and a rotational shaft projecting toward a front side of the base board through an opening formed in the projection portion. A clockwork mechanism includes: a supporting member; a movable member including an engagement hole and movably supported by the supporting member; a drive pin engaging the engagement hole, including a flange portion for preventing the drive pin from disengaging from the engagement hole, and revolving to move the movable member; a biasing member provided in the movable member to partially overlap the engagement hole; and an abutment member abutting the movable member to restrict the movement of the movable member. The flange portion overlaps or does not overlap the biasing member depending on a revolving position of the drive pin. When the movable member abuts the abutment member, the drive pin pushes the biasing member and the movable member is biased toward the abutment member by the biasing member. When the flange portion does not overlap the biasing member, the drive pin moves the movable member to push the biasing member, allowing the drive pin to disengage from the engagement hole.
