A fuel chamber defined by a recess portion of a valve body and a tip section of a valve member of an injector is structured such that a seat diameter Ds of a seat section of the valve member seated on a valve seat section formed on an inner peripheral surface of the valve body, an axial distance A between an inlet portion of an injection hole formed in the recess portion and the tip section of the valve member facing the inlet portion in the fuel chamber and an axial distance B between an inside region of the recess portion located radially inside the inlet portion of the injection hole in the fuel chamber and the tip section facing the inside region satisfy inequalities: 0.048&#x2266;A/Ds&#x2266;0.18 and B/Ds&#x2266;0.18.

Injector

A fuel injection valve includes a housing, a stator, a movable core, a coil, a nozzle hole, a valve member, and at least one communicating passage. The housing receives the stator and movable core. An end face of the movable core has a non-contact surface and a contact surface. The non-contact surface and the stator define a space when the contact surface contacts the stator. The valve member is slidably received in a bore of the movable core. The valve member has a stopper engageable with the movable core such that the valve member is axially movable together with the movable core. The at least one communicating passage connects the space with a corresponding one of a first fuel passage and a second fuel passage of the housing.

Fuel injection valve

In a fluid injection valve, a valve needle and a moving core are installed in the valve housing to be slidable in an axial direction. The moving core has a through hole in which the valve needle is slidably inserted. A stopper provided on the valve needle moves the valve needle integrally with the moving core when the moving core travels toward the fixed core with respect to the needle valve. An elastic member biases the valve needle away from the fixed core, and a helical spring biases the moving core toward the fixed core. A spring seat supports one axial end of the helical spring in both of the axial direction and a radial direction of the helical spring.

Fluid injection valve

A fuel injector is disclosed that includes a valve body with a plurality of nozzle holes for injecting fuel in a hollow spray from the fuel injector. The plurality of nozzle holes each include an outlet. The valve body also includes at least one air-introducing aperture with an air outlet port positioned between the outlets of the plurality of nozzle holes. The air-introducing aperture is operable for introducing air into a hollow area of the hollow spray.

Fuel injector

A fuel injection valve includes a valve member, a first stop member, a second stop member, a movable core, a fixed core, and a coil. The valve member opens and closes an injection nozzle. The first stop member protrudes radially outward from said valve member. The second stop member protrudes radially outward from said valve member. The movable core is sandwiched between said first and second stop members. The movable core and one of said first and second stop members defines a fuel chamber. The fixed core is axially displaced from said movable core. The coil causes reciprocal axial displacement of said valve member such that said movable core axially reciprocates toward and away from said fixed core therewith.

A fuel injection valve comprises a body, a valve member, a coil, a movable core, a fixed core, and a housing member. The body has a nozzle hole. The valve member allows injection of fuel from the nozzle hole. The coil generates a magnetic field. The movable core axially reciprocates with the valve member. The fixed core is provided adjacent to a side of the movable core that is opposite the nozzle hole. The fixed core attracts the movable core and moves with the valve member due to the magnetic field generated from the coil. The housing member has a first axial end fixed to the body. The housing member covers the coil and forms a magnetic circuit together with the body, the movable core, and the fixed core due to the magnetic field generated by the coil.

In a structure or method of installing an injector in a delivery pipe of a common rail, the injector on which a seal member and a clip member are mounted is inserted into an interior of the delivery pipe in such a manner that the clip member comes in contact with the delivery pipe after the seal member comes in contact with an interior wall of the delivery pipe. This structure or method has an advantage of preventing the foreign material, which is a part of the protection layer peeled off from the delivery pipe due to contact between the clip member and the delivery pipe, from being lodged between the seal member and the inner wall of the delivery pipe.
