An exhaust hood (Ec) of the present invention is provided with an inner casing (), an outer casing (), and a diffuser (). The inner casing () surrounds a rotor from the outside in a radial direction, and forms a first space () in which a fluid flows in an axial direction (Da) between the rotor and the inner casing (). The diffuser () is provided with a bearing cone () that has a diameter that gradually widens moving towards an axial downstream side (Dad) and forms a cylindrical shape extending to the axial downstream side (Dad) to be continuous with the outer circumferential surface of a rotor shaft that forms the first space (). An end edge () on the axial downstream side (Dad) of the bearing cone () forms an oval shape in which, in a direction orthogonal to an axial line (Ar), a distance (R) between the axial line (Ar) and a second cone end part () of a second side (Dan) is greater than a distance (R) between the axial line (Ar) and a first cone end part () of a first side (Dex).

Exhaust hood and steam turbine

An exhaust chamber is equipped with: a diffuser that forms a diffuser space; an exhaust casing that forms an exhaust space communicating with the diffuser space; and an auxiliary exhaust frame that forms an auxiliary exhaust space having an annular shape centered around an axis, on the inside of the diffuser in the radial direction. The auxiliary exhaust frame has an opening that opens toward the outside in the radial direction from the interior of the auxiliary exhaust space, and that enables the exhaust space and the auxiliary exhaust space to communicate with each other.

Steam turbine and exhaust chamber therefor

A steam turbine plant includes high-pressure gland portions, low-pressure gland portions, a gland regulator line, and a rotor-driving steam supply line. The high-pressure gland portions supply gland steam to gaps of ends of a high-pressure turbine rotor, and thereby seal the gaps. The low-pressure gland portions supply the gland steam to gaps of ends of a low-pressure turbine rotor, and thereby seal the gaps. The gland regulator line guides the gland steam from the high-pressure gland portion to the low-pressure gland portion. The rotor-driving steam supply line branches off from the gland regulator line, and supplies some of the gland steam to a main steam flow passage in a low-pressure casing.

Steam turbine plant

A sealing device seals a gap between an outer circumferential surface of a rotor and an inner circumferential surface of a stator. The sealing device includes a sealing ring provided on the stator and having a free-cutting material, in which a convex portion and a concave portion are alternately formed in an axial direction, on a surface facing the rotor; a plurality of radial fins protruding radially outward from the outer circumferential surface of the rotor; and oblique fins which obliquely protrude from the outer circumferential surface of the rotor toward both ends of the free-cutting material of the sealing ring in the axial direction from the outside of the both ends.

Sealing device and rotary machine

A rotary machine includes: a stationary body having a stationary-side peripheral surface; a rotating body having a rotating-side peripheral surface facing the stationary side-peripheral surface. One surface which is one of the stationary-side peripheral surface and the rotating-side peripheral surface has an upstream-side peripheral surface, a downstream-side peripheral surface, and a rearward step surface. The other surface has an upstream-side seal fin forming a minute gap between the upstream-side seal fin and the upstream-side peripheral surface; a downstream-side seal fin forming a minute gap between the downstream-side seal fin and the downstream-side peripheral surface. The rearward step surface has a guide surface extending downstream Dawhile directed toward the other surface and connected to the upstream-side peripheral surface.

Rotary machine

A steam turbine exhaust chamber includes a casing and a bearing cone disposed in the casing. The casing has a recess provided along at least a part of a circumference of the casing on a radially outer side of a downstream end of the bearing cone and recessed downstream in an axial direction with respect to the downstream end of the bearing cone.

Steam turbine exhaust chamber and steam turbine

There are provided a seal fin, a seal structure, a turbo machine, and a method for manufacturing a seal fin. The seal fin suppresses leak of a fluid from a gap between a first and a second structures facing each other in a radius direction, and is formed on the first structure while keeping a clearance with respect to the second structure. The seal fin includes: a fin main body extending in the radius direction; and a protrusion being formed between a front face of the fin main body and a tip face and protruding toward an upstream side. A length of the protrusion is 1.5 times a length of the fin main body or less; an angle of the protrusion is 75 degrees or less; and a tilt angle of the fin main body is set in a range of &#x2212;60 degrees or more and 60 degrees or less.

Seal fin, seal structure, turbo machine, and method for manufacturing seal fin

A steam turbine (ST) includes a rotor () which is rotatable around an axis (Ar), an inner casing () surrounding the rotor () from an outer peripheral side, an outer casing () surrounding the rotor () and the inner casing () and defining an exhaust chamber between the inner casing () and the outer casing (), the steam being exhausted to the exhaust chamber (), and a flow guide () which has a tubular shape and is installed on one end portion of the inner casingin an axial direction (Da) in the exhaust chamber () to guide the steam discharged from the rotor (). The flow guide () has a turning surface (RA) which is connected to an outer peripheral surface (A) and turns a fluid flowing along the outer peripheral surface (A) toward the other side in the axial direction (Da).

Steam turbine

A steam turbine exhaust chamber defining therein an exhaust passage through which steam having passed through a last-stage blade of a steam turbine is introduced to a condenser includes: a casing including an outer peripheral wall portion formed on an outer peripheral side of the exhaust passage; a bearing cone disposed on a radially inner side of the outer peripheral wall portion; and at least one bypass passage carrying a part of steam flowing through the exhaust passage from a high-pressure portion of the exhaust passage to a low-pressure portion of the exhaust passage or to the condenser, The at least one bypass passage includes a high-pressure-side opening formed in the bearing cone and a low-pressure-side opening facing steam having a lower pressure than steam facing the high-pressure-side opening.

Steam turbine exhaust chamber and steam turbine system

A steam turbine cooling unit for a steam turbine includes a coolant steam path provided to penetrate a casing along a superheated steam supply tube to reach a gap; and a coolant steam supplying unit configured to supply coolant steam flowing through the coolant steam path along the superheated steam supply tube to reach the gap, and having: (i) a pressure higher than a pressure of superheated steam to be supplied by the superheated steam supply tube; and (ii) a temperature lower than a temperature of the superheated steam to be supplied by the superheated steam supply tube.

Steam turbine cooling unit

There are provided a seal fin, a seal structure, and a turbo machine that can achieve a high leak-suppressing effect and can reduce leak loss of the turbo machine. The disclosure suppresses leak of a fluid from a gap between a first structure being in a static state and a second structure rotating around an axis line and is formed on the first structure so as to extend toward the second structure while keeping a clearance between a tip face thereof on an extending direction and the second structure. The first structure and the second structure face each other in a radius direction with the gap inbetween. A plurality of hollows opening at a tip on the extending direction are arranged along a circumference direction in parallel with each other on a front face facing an upstream side of a flow direction of the fluid.

Seal fin, seal structure, and turbo machine

A seal structure is for sealing leakage fluid flowing through a gap between a rotation member rotating about a rotation axis and a stationary member facing the rotation member. The seal structure includes seal fins projecting from a base that is one of the rotation and stationary members toward the other one, the seal fins being spaced apart from each other at a certain interval in an axial direction of the rotation axis; and a step section provided to the other one, the step section including step surfaces facing the seal fins and a riser surface between the adjacent step surfaces, the step surfaces and the riser surface defining a step portion. The seal fins are inclined upstream in a flow direction of the leakage fluid relative to a radial direction perpendicular to the rotation axis. Each seal fin and the base define a corner portion having a curved surface.

Seal structure and turbine

A steam turbine is for a combined cycle plant. The combined cycle plant includes a gas turbine; a boiler a heat source of which is a flue gas discharged from the gas turbine; a high-pressure steam turbine that includes a rotor extending along an axial center of rotation of the rotor, a steam passage provided along the extending direction of the rotor between the rotor and a casing for the rotor, and a high-pressure steam supply portion provided to communicate, from outside the casing through the casing, with the steam passage and configured to be supplied with superheated steam, the high-pressure steam turbine being driven by high-pressure steam generated by the boiler; and a low-pressure steam turbine configured to be driven by low-pressure steam generated by the boiler and by the steam that has flowed through the high-pressure steam turbine.

A sealing device includes a fin, a through hole, and a high pressure fluid supplying unit. The fin extends from a stationary body toward a rotating body in a gap between the stationary and rotating bodies. The fin is not in contact with the rotating body. The through hole is formed to be opened in at least one of the stationary body and the rotating body on an upstream side of the fin in a flow direction of a fluid to flow into the gap between the stationary body and the rotating body. The through hole is opened toward an upstream side of the fluid to flow in the gap between the stationary body and the rotating body. The high pressure fluid supplying unit is configured to supply a high pressure fluid to the gap from the through hole. The high pressure fluid has a higher pressure than the fluid.

Sealing device

A seal device for a turbine is disposed around a rotor so as to separate a high-pressure space and a low-pressure space and includes: a plurality of thin plates arranged along an outer peripheral surface of the rotor. Each of the thin plates has a thin-plate tip surface facing the outer peripheral surface of the rotor; a first side plate disposed so as to face the high-pressure space and covering outer peripheral regions of first side surfaces; and a second side plate disposed so as to face the low-pressure space and covering outer peripheral regions of second side surfaces. The first side surface of each of the thin plates is covered with the first side plate in a region extending further to an inner side, in a radial direction of the rotor, than a region of the second side surface covered with the second side plate.
