An object of the present invention is to provide a methacrylic resin composition which exhibits excellent flexibility, elasticity, impact resistance, and plasticity and moldability while transparency inherent to methacrylic resins is maintained. A methacrylic resin composition to be produced is composed of 10 to 99 parts by mass of a methacrylic resin (A) containing not less than 80 mass % of a methyl methacrylate unit and 90 to 1 part by mass of a block copolymer (B) containing 10 to 60 mass % of a methyl methacrylate polymer block (b1) and 90 to 40 mass % of an acrylate polymer block (b2) and having a refractive index of 1.485 to 1.495 (the total of (A) and (B) is 100 parts by mass).

An object of the present invention is to provide an adsorbent material having excellent gas storage performance and gas separation performance. This object can be achieved by an adsorbent material comprising a composition comprising a metal complex (A) and an elastomer (B), the metal complex (A) containing an anionic ligand and at least one metal ion selected from ions of metals belonging to Groups 1 to 13 of the periodic table, the metal complex (A) being capable of undergoing a volume change upon adsorption, and the mass ratio of the metal complex (A) and the elastomer (B) being within the range of 1:99 to 99:1.

A process for producing a thermoplastic polymer powder that is made by subjecting an acrylic triblock copolymer (B)(A)(B) to an underwater cutting process to obtain a thermoplastic polymer powder, wherein block (A) has structural units originating from an acrylic ester; and block (B) has structural units originating from a methacrylic ester, this thermoplastic polymer powder is suitable for use as molding, skin material, and the like which are excellent in weatherability, flexibility, mechanical strength, low-temperature properties, adhesion to polar resins, rubber elasticity, safety, etc.

Acrylic block copolymer composition and molded article thereof

A polylactic acid composition comprising (A) a polylactic acid-series resin and (B) an acrylic triblock copolymer is prepared. The composition fulfills the following requirements: (1) the acrylic triblock copolymer (B) is a triblock polymer comprising (B1) a polymer block having a glass-transition temperature of not higher than 25&#xb0; C., (B2a) a polymer block which has a glass-transition temperature of not lower than 60&#xb0; C. and is bound to a terminal of the polymer block (B1), and (B2b) a polymer block which has a glass-transition temperature of not lower than 60&#xb0; C. and is bound to another terminal thereof; (2) the polymer block (B1) comprises a main structural unit derived from an acrylate, and the polymer block (B2a) and the polymer block (B2b) independently comprise a main structural unit derived from a methacrylate; and (3) both of the weight-average molecular weights of the polymer block (B2a) and polymer block (B2b) are smaller than the weight-average molecular weight of the polymer block (B1). The polylactic acid-series resin (A) and the acrylic triblock copolymer (B) may form a phase separation structure.

To provide a thermoplastic elastomer composition which can tightly adhere to a resin having a polar group without the need of using any adhesive and is excellent in water resistance, rubber properties and moldability, or to provide a composite molded article manufactured from the composition. A thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising: (a) 100 parts by mass of a styrene block copolymer constituted by a [vinyl aromatic polymer block (A1)]-[hydrogenated conjugated diene polymer block (A2)]-[vinyl aromatic polymer block (A1)]; (b) 2 to 1000 parts by mass of an acrylic block copolymer having a methacrylic acid ester polymer block (B3) and an acrylic acid ester polymer block (B1); and (c) 2 to 200 parts by mass of a block copolymer containing a hydrophilic group; and a composite resin molded article manufactured by compositing the thermoplastic elastomer composition with a thermoplastic resin.
