Systems and methods are disclosed to facilitate payment of a restaurant bill via text message. For example, a text message having a restaurant bill code may be sent from a customer device to an MPS phone number. A restaurant network address may be extracted for a restaurant computing system. A query may be sent to the restaurant computing system using the restaurant network address with the restaurant bill code. In response, the restaurant computing system may send restaurant bill data that includes least one restaurant menu item, a price for the at least one restaurant menu item, and a total bill amount. A unique URL may be created that when entered into a web browser presents a webpage that includes at least the restaurant bill data. The unique URL may be used by the customer to pay the restaurant bill.

For example, a method for sharing comments among Internet services may include presenting a first content item to a plurality of users over the Internet via a first Internet service; receiving at the first Internet service a first comment that is related to the first content item and is received from a user through the Internet; presenting the first comment in conjunction with the first content item via the first Internet service; sending the first comment from the first Internet service to a second Internet service; receiving at the first Internet service a second comment from the second Internet service, wherein the second comment is different than the first comment; and presenting the second comment in conjunction with the first content item via the first Internet service.

Systems and methods are disclosed for sharing global lists of media content among multiple apps executing on various client devices. A global list can include a plurality of records for media, each of which can include pointers to media stored elsewhere, a unique identifier for the media, a list identifier for the media, and/or metadata for the media. The global list can be accessed, modified, shared, aggregated, organized, etc. using different apps. These different apps may include apps developed by different developers, apps produced by different companies, apps offered for download by different companies, apps that perform different functions, etc.

Systems and methods providing users with a rich web experience are disclosed. In one embodiment, a client and at least one server are in communication using a dual communication link.
