A network device (e.g., a user equipment (UE), a new radio NB (gNB), or other network component) can process or generate a dynamic Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) repetition indication that provides parameters about PUSCH repetition(s) for the uplink within one, two or other number of slots of a New Radio (NR) communication as an Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communication. The network device can also process or generate one or more multiple Configuration-Grant (CG) PUSCH configurations. The presence of a repetition level bit-field in a Downlink Control Information (DCI) carrying UL grant or activating UL configured grant PUSCH can be controlled by semi-static UE-specific RRC signaling enabling or disabling the dynamic signaling of PUSCH repetitions.

Physical uplink shared channel enhancements for new radio ultra-reliable low-latency communication

An apparatus and system to enable URLLC PUSCH repetitions in the unlicensed spectrum are described. The number of consecutive PUSCH repetitions indicated in the RRC parameter is reinterpreted as the number of transmission occasions over which the UE is able to attempt CCA. An orphan symbol is used to provide a DMRS transmission or cyclic prefix of the PUSCH transmission causing the orphan symbol. Whether a CG-UCI is piggybacked in a PUSCH transmission, and whether DCI-DFI is used, is dependent on whether cg-RetransmissionTimer is configured.

Repetition schemes for URLLC operating in unlicensed spectrum

Technology for a user equipment (UE) operable to decode a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resource received from a Next Generation NodeB (gNB) is disclosed. The UE can decode a downlink control channel signal received from the gNB in a first bandwidth part. The downlink control channel signal may include an index of a second bandwidth part, and an indication of a CSI-RS transmission in the second bandwidth part having the index. The UE can switch from the first bandwidth part to the second bandwidth part. The UE can decode the CSI-RS transmission received from the gNB in the second bandwidth part.

In embodiments, the UE may scale the parameter d based on a first subcarrier spacing (SCS) associated with the parameter d and a second SCS associated with the uplink transmission to obtain a scaled parameter d' that is used to determine the starting symbol of the RUR. A method for physical downlink control channel (PD-CCH) monitoring by user equipment (UE includes receiving a specification indicative of a monitoring pattern for a search space set including a plurality of slots. The monitoring pattern includes one or more monitoring spans within the search space set. Each of the one or more monitoring spans is associated with a set of parameters defining that particular monitoring span. The method includes selecting at least one monitoring span of the one or more monitoring spans. The method includes assigning the UE to monitor the at least one monitoring span. System and method of downlink control channel signaling for uplink coexistence of multiple service types

Methods and systems are provided for communicating in a wireless network based on a prioritization status. User equipment can receive a first signal that includes an indicator. The UE can determine a prioritization status for a second signal based on the prioritization indicator. The UE can communicate, with one or more radio access networks (RANs) of a network, the second signal, where the timeline of the second signal can be out of order respective of other signals communicated by the UE and the wireless network. The second signal can include data transmitted by an ultra-reliable low latency communication (URLLC) service. The UE can communicate the second signal out of order with respect to one or more additional signals. The UE, based on the indicator, can communicate hybrid automated repeat request (HARQ) feedback before a HARQ feedback timeline of a non-urgent transmission.

Systems, devices, and techniques for controlling uplink transmissions including cancelling previously scheduled transmissions are described. A described technique includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE), a configuration information that provides a search space set configuration associated with a control resource set (CORESET) to monitor for an uplink cancellation indication; receiving, by the UE, scheduling information that schedules one or more uplink transmissions; monitoring, by the UE via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), for the uplink cancellation indication based on the configuration information; receiving, by the UE via the PDCCH, a downlink control information (DCI) message that comprises the uplink cancellation indication; and cancelling, by the UE, at least part of the one or more uplink transmissions in response to the uplink cancellation indication.

Systems for providing prioritization of UL transmissions in a UE are described. The prioritization information is used to resolve resource conflicts among UL transmissions that include conflicts between high priority UL transmissions, between an aperiodic-channel state information transmission and a scheduling request, and between a low priority UL transmission and a high priority UL transmission when timeline conditions for multiplexing in a single UL transmission are not met. The prioritization is based on timing and priority of the UL transmissions to determine which of the UL transmissions to transmit and which to cancel. Additional prioritization is based on reception by the UE of a cancelation index or in an additional overlapping high priority UL grant received in a DCI of a PDCCH that overlaps with at least one other PDCCH associated with the UL transmissions.
