There is provided a dispersion device including: a supply section having a supply pipe for supplying a material containing fibers together with air, and a chamber that has a first swirl flow forming portion forming a first swirl flow of the air containing the material and a second swirl flow forming portion communicating with the first swirl flow forming portion and forming a second swirl flow in a direction opposite to the first swirl flow of the air containing the material and that is coupled to the supply pipe; a dispersion section that has a casing formed with a discharge port for discharging the material, stirs the material in the casing, and discharges and disperses the material from the discharge port into air; and a coupling section having a communication port through which the first swirl flow forming portion and the second swirl flow forming portion communicate with the casing.

A projector includes a light source unit having a light source and a first cooling section adapted to transmit heat of the light source to a first liquid refrigerant circulating, an optical unit having a light modulation device and a second cooling section adapted to transmit heat of the light modulation device to a second liquid refrigerant, a cooling unit adapted to cool the first liquid refrigerant and the second liquid refrigerant, a first connection member connecting the light source unit and the cooling unit to each other, and a second connection member connecting the optical unit and the cooling unit to each other, and at least one of a set of the light source unit and the cooling unit, and a set of the optical unit and the cooling unit is configured to detachably be attached to each other.

Projector with detachable cooling

A light source which has a housing accommodating a light source lamp and having an exhaust port, a duct, and a fan are provided. The duct has an inlet facing the exhaust port, a branching part which branches air from the inlet, a duct part extending in a first direction orthogonal to an opening plane of the exhaust port, and a duct part extending in a second direction intersecting with the first direction. The fan is arranged in a position for sucking the air circulating through the duct part. The duct part has a plurality of sidewall parts, an opening, and a mesh.

A projector includes an adjustment mechanism adjusting a light axis of the optical member. The adjustment mechanism includes a first member, a second member attached to be movable in a first direction orthogonal to the light axis of the optical member with respect to the first member, a third member holding the optical member and attached to be rotatable around a rotation center axis parallel to the light axis with respect to the second member, a first adjustment portion moving the second member in the first direction with respect to the first member, and a second adjustment portion rotating the third member around the rotation center axis with respect to the second member, and an operation portion of the first adjustment portion and an operation portion of the second adjustment portion are placed at the same side.

A light source device includes: an arc tube having a light emission portion containing a pair of electrodes and configured to emit light by discharges induced between the pair of the electrodes; and a container body that accommodates the arc tube, the container body has a space in which the arc tube is accommodated, and a plurality of openings through that cooling fluids introduced from the outside of the container body are supplied into the space, the plural openings are formed at positions that allow the cooling fluids passing through the openings to collide with each other at a collision position above the light emission portion.

A light source device includes: a light emitting tube; a reflecting mirror; and a tubular member disposed on a forward side of light emission of the reflecting mirror, and surrounding the light emitting tube, the tubular member has a pair of air circulating units communicating inside and outside of the tubular member and adapted to allow introduction of external air from the forward side toward a backward side of the light emission in a vertically symmetrical manner on a center axis of the light emitting tube, inside the air circulating unit there is disposed a air flow guide member, and the air flow guide member is pivoted rotatably around a predetermined rotational axis with respect to the air circulating unit under own weight of the air flow guide member, and rotates to thereby open and block at least a part of a flow passage inside the air circulating unit.
