A process for the production of a zeolitic material comprising one or more zeolite intergrowth phases of one or more zeolites having a CHA-type framework structure comprising SiOand XO, and one or more zeolites having an AFT-type framework tructure comprising SiOand XO, wherein X is a trivalent element, and wherein said process comprises: (1) preparing a mixture comprising one or more sources for SiO, one or more sources for XO, and seed crystals comprising a zeolitic material, said zeolitic material comprising SiOand XOin its framework structure and having a CHA-type framework structure; (2) heating the mixture prepared in (1) for obtaining a zeolitic material comprising one or more zeolite intergrowth phases; and (R) subjecting the zeolitic material obtained in (2) to a procedure for removing at least a portion of X from the framework structure of the zeolitic material.

A process for preparing a zeolitic material containing YOand XO, where Y and X represent a tetravalent element and a trivalent element, respectively, is described. The process includes (1) a step of preparing a mixture containing one or more structure directing agents, seed crystals, and a first zeolitic material containing YOand XOand having FAU-, GIS-, MOR-, and/or LTA-type framework structures; and (2) a step of heating the mixture for obtaining a second zeolitic material containing YOand XOand having a different framework structure than the first zeolitic material. The mixture prepared in (1) and heated in (2) contains 1000 wt % or less of HO based on 100 wt % of YOin the framework structure of the first zeolitic material. Process for the production of a zeolitic material via solvent-free interzeolitic conversion

The present invention relates to a process for the production of a zeolitic material having a BEA-type framework structure comprising YOand XO, wherein said process comprises the steps of (1) preparing a mixture comprising one or more sources for YOand one or more sources for XO; (2) crystallizing the mixture obtained in step (1); (3) subjecting the zeolitic material having a BEA-type framework structure obtained in step (2) to an ion-exchange procedure with Cu; and (4) subjecting the Cu ion-exchanged zeolitic material obtained in step (3) to an ion-exchange procedure with Fe; wherein Y is a tetravalent element, and X is a trivalent element, wherein the mixture provided in step (1) and crystallized in step (2) further comprises seed crystals comprising one or more zeolitic materials having a BEA-type framework structure, and wherein the mixture provided in step (1) and crystallized in step (2) does not contain an organotemplate as a structure-directing agent, as well as to the zeolitic material having a BEA framework structure per se, and to its use, in particular in a method for the treatment of NOby selective catalytic reduction (SCR).

A novel silica which is in the form of ultrafine particles having mesopores and has a regular structure; and a process for producing the silica. The silica is a self-organized nanoparticulate silica characterized in that the average particle diameter is 4 to 30 nm, preferably 6 to 20 nm, and these particles are regularly arranged so as to form a primitive cubic lattice. Regularly arranged nanoparticulate silica and process for producing the same

(A) An anionic surfactant, (B) a silicate monomer and (C) a basic silane are mixed in water or a mixed solvent of a water-miscible organic solvent and water to obtain a mesoporous silica complex having mesopores with a uniform size, the anionic surfactant Component (A) is removed by washing the resultant mesoporous silica complex with an acidic aqueous solution, a water-miscible organic solvent or an aqueous solution thereof to obtain a mesoporous silica outer shell utilizing the structure of the mesoporous silica complex as a template, and the mesoporous silica complex or the mesoporous silica outer shell is calcined to obtain a mesoporous silica. The mesoporous silica can be synthesized in this manner utilizing the anionic surfactant micelle with a remarkably low affinity to the silicate monomer.
