A vehicular headlight () includes a first light source unit (), a second light source unit (), a temperature sensor (), and a control unit (). When the temperature derating is performed on the first light source unit () based on the temperature in a state where the light distribution pattern () of a low-beam is formed, the control unit () controls the power to be supplied to each of a plurality of light-emitting elements () so that the light amount of at least a part of the first light with which at least a region () of a first light distribution pattern () is irradiated decreases as compared with that before the temperature derating.

Vehicular headlight

A suspension structure for a power unit is configured to suspend a power unit including a motor, a transaxle, and a power control unit. In the suspension structure for a power unit, the transaxle is arranged in a substantially center portion in a vehicle width direction, the motor is arranged at a position on an upper side with respect to the transaxle, and on one side in the vehicle width direction, and the power control unit is arranged at a position on the upper side with respect to the transaxle, and on an opposite side of the motor. In the suspension structure for a power unit, the motor and the power control unit are suspended on a principal axis of inertia substantially parallel with an axis in the vehicle width direction.

Power unit suspension structure

A scanning light source includes a semiconductor light source and a motor, and scans output light of the semiconductor light source in front of a lamp according to the movement of the motor. A constant current driver supplies a driving current Ito the semiconductor light source according to a light source control signal. A light source control signal generator generates the light source control signal so as to obtain a light distribution pattern that corresponds to light distribution instruction data. A delay time measurement device measures the delay time required for the transition of the on/off states of the semiconductor light source from the change of the light source control signal.

A scanning light source includes a light source, and scans the output light of the light source ahead of a lamp. A control apparatus controls the lighting on/off state of the semiconductor light source in synchronization with the scanning operation of the scanning light source. The control apparatus judges the presence or absence of an abnormal state with at least one from among (i) a timing immediately before switching from a lighting-on state to a lighting-off state and (ii) a timing immediately before switching from a lighting-off state to a lighting-on state as a judgment timing.

A lighting circuit includes a voltage converter configured to receive a DC voltage to perform voltage conversion and supply a drive current to a light source unit including a light emitting element, a bypass switch configured to form a bypass path through which the drive current bypasses the light emitting element, and a controller configured to control the voltage converter and the bypass switch. The light source unit includes a plurality of light emitting elements connected in series. The bypass path includes at least one bypass switch which are connected in parallel with at least one of the light emitting elements. When turning on the light emitting element of the light source unit, the controller controls the voltage conversion to start in a state where the bypass switch is turned on, and then, turns off the bypass switch to turn on the light emitting element.

Switching element driving circuit and discharge lamp lighting apparatus

A lighting device for a vehicle comprises: a plurality of light source sections connected in parallel with each other; and a transformer for supplying an electric power to the plurality of light source sections. The transformer includes a primary coil and a plurality of secondary coils provided corresponding to the plurality of light source sections, for respectively supplying electric power to the corresponding light source sections. One end of each light source section is grounded and a semiconductor light emitting element is provided between one end and the other end of the light source section. The lighting device further comprises: a voltage detecting section for detecting voltages at the other ends of the plurality of light sources; and an output control section for controlling an electric current outputted from the transformer according to the voltage detected by the voltage detecting section.
