A compressor includes a casing with an oil retention space, an electric motor, a driveshaft, a compression mechanism, an oil supply passage, an oil discharge passage, an oil supply pump, and an oil discharge pump. The compression mechanism has a movable part, and an upper housing forming a crank chamber. The upper housing has an upper bearing that pivotally supports the driveshaft below the crank chamber. The oil supply passage leads oil in the oil retention space to the crank chamber. The oil discharge passage includes a main oil discharge passage, and a first inflow passage communicating between the main oil discharge passage and the crank chamber. An oil-recovery space is formed in a lower part of the upper housing below the crank chamber. The oil discharge passage includes a second inflow passage communicating between the main oil discharge passage and the oil-recovery space.

Compressor

A scroll compressor includes a compression mechanism having a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll, a drive shaft engaging with the orbiting scroll, and a casing housing the compression mechanism and the drive shaft. An orbiting scroll thrust sliding surface is pressed against and in sliding contact with a fixed scroll thrust sliding surface. One of the thrust sliding surfaces is provided with an oil groove. A bearing oil supply passage provided inside the drive shaft does not communicate with the oil groove and is used to supply the lubricating oil in an oil reservoir in the casing to a bearing of the drive shaft. A sliding surface oil supply passage is used to supply the lubricating oil in the oil reservoir to the oil groove. The sliding surface oil supply passage has a sliding surface main passage provided inside the drive shaft.

Scroll compressor

A compressor includes a casing, a motor fixed to the casing, a vertically extending drive shaft coupled to the motor, and a compression mechanism driven by the drive shaft to compress a fluid. A shaft-inside oil supply path is provided in the drive shaft. Oil at a bottom of the casing is supplied through the shaft-inside oil supply path to a sliding portion of the drive shaft above the motor. The compressor includes a shaft-inside oil discharge path provided in the drive shaft, and an oil discharge coupled to a lower end of the drive shaft. The shaft-inside oil discharge path extends from an upper portion to a lower portion of the motor. The oil discharge pump discharges the oil that has been supplied to the sliding portion of the drive shaft to the bottom of the casing through the shaft-inside oil discharge path.

A compressor includes a casing configured to store lubricating oil in a bottom part, and a compression mechanism accommodated in an interior of the casing. Lubricating oil is separated out from high-pressure refrigerant discharged from the compression mechanism. Lubricating oil separated out by the oil separator flows from a high-pressure space formed in the interior of the casing and into which the high-pressure refrigerant flows. An ejector mechanism is disposed in the interior of the casing, preferably in the high-pressure space. The ejector mechanism includes a refrigerant-accelerating flow path in which the high-pressure refrigerant flows via a narrowed part in order to increase a flow rate of the high-pressure refrigerant, and an oil suction flow path merging with the refrigerant-accelerating flow path.

Compressor with oil separator and refrigeration device including the same

A compressor for suppressing leakage of lubricating oil has a casing, a motor and a scroll mechanism coupled to the motor by a drive shaft. The drive shaft is rotatably supported by a bearing. The lubricating oil is supplied between the drive shaft and the bearing. An oil collecting portion is formed at an end portion in the axis direction of a bearing portion. The bearing portion is constituted of an outer peripheral surface of the drive shaft and an inner peripheral surface of the bearing. The oil collecting portion includes an oil groove formed in the periphery direction of the drive shaft. An oil passage is formed to conduct the lubricating oil into the oil collecting portion.

Formed in a scroll type compression mechanism is a connection passageway with a discharge opening through which refrigerant compressed by the compression mechanism flows out into a clearance space defined between the compression mechanism and a drive motor. A muffler space in communication with the connection passageway that is configured to reduce operating noise is formed in the compression mechanism. A motor cooling passageway configured to circulate working fluid which has flowed out into the clearance space is formed between the drive motor and an inner surface area of a casing. A guide plate is disposed in the clearance space. Formed in the guide plate is a flow dividing concave portion which causes a part of refrigerant flowing toward the motor cooling passageway to be distributed in a circumferential direction and toward an internal end of a discharge pipe located in the clearance space.
