A multi-component analyzing apparatus in which infrared light is irradiated to a measuring-subject sample S which is constituted by either measuring-subject components whose sorts or quantities are limited or by a mixed article made of said measuring-subject components; intensity of infrared light having respective wavelength ranges which are fitted to infrared absorption spectra of the respective measuring-subject components among such infrared light penetrated through the measuring-subject sample S is measured by employing a plurality of detectorstocorresponding thereto; and said multi-component analyzing apparatus is comprised of a calculation processing unitfor analyzing the infrared light intensity of the respective wavelength ranges so as to acquire concentration xto xof the respective measuring-subject components; wherein the calculation processing unitis capable of executing an analyzing process program P for executing analysis operations of the concentration xto xof the respective measuring-subject components by solving simultaneous equations which are constituted by equations having mutual interference correction terms used to correct interference adverse influences occurred among the respective measuring-subject components.

Multi-component analyzing apparatus

A refrigerant refill amount calculating apparatus is provided with concentration measuring units for measuring component ratios X:Y:Zof fluorocarbon S contained in a refrigerating machine, and a calculation processing unit. The calculating unit calculates additional filling amounts of respective refrigerant components which are required to fill fluorocarbon having a defined amount 'A' in accordance with defined component ratios X:Y:Z within the refrigerating machine 2 based upon an additional filling amount Xa of a refrigerant component which has been additionally filled into the refrigerating machine, and a change amount of component ratios X:Y:Z, X:Y:Zwhich have been measured before and after the refrigerant component was filled. Refill amounts of refrigerant components can be easily calculated in a correct manner.

A measuring instrument for receiving radiation through an opening in a housing and having a protective shield member across the opening. The protective shield member is sealed against the housing to project a flexible contact portion at above ambient pressure for contacting and conforming to the surface of an object. A flexible dome on the protective shield member can pump air into the protective shield member to provide the desired internal pressure. The protective shield member is relatively thin and reaches thermal equilibrium with the object in a relatively short period of time, when the measuring instrument is a radiation thermometer.

A radiant thermometer for detecting infrared rays coming from an object along an optical axis to determine its temperature is provided with an improved aiming system. An exterior housing supports an interior housing that mounts the detector having an opening for receiving the infrared rays. A visible sighting light source is provided in the exterior housing behind the detector. A peripheral lens system is mounted between the interior and the exterior housing to provide a cone shaped transmission of light having a larger field angle than a field angle of the detector. The cone shaped transmission of light is capable of being focused on the optical axis for aiming the radiant thermometer.

The present invention relates to an apparatus for continuously measuring the concentration of oil in a water sample by the infra-red absorption method. The apparatus comprises a supplying device which supplies an oil-containing water sample and a supplying device which supplies a solvent for extracting the oil in the sample, each of said water sample and solvent being supplied in a controlled and continuous amount, an extractor connected to said supplying device having an agitator therein, which extractor receives said oil-containing water sample and solvent and serves to extract the oil component in the water sample with the solvent.
