When machining of a circumferential groove is performed by advancing a cutting tool which is attached to a rotating shaft extending to an inner side from an outer side of a rotating work into the work in a depth direction, the rotating shaft is downwardly inclined toward the inner side of the work at a predetermined inclination angle, a trajectory of a cutting edge within the work is arranged to be an ellipse of which minor axis is oriented in the radial direction connecting a deepest point thereof and the center of the work as viewing in a plane view, and the work is cut as lowering the cutting tool until reaching groove depth of a machining target while maintaining the inclination angle, so that deviation occurring in a direction of an axis toward a work center axis in parallel to a work face from a point on the work face on which the deepest point is projected or an axis of the rotating shaft of the cutting tool projected on the work face can be arbitrarily set.

Cutting machining method and cutting machining apparatus

A preparing apparatus of an NC machining program prepares an NC machining program including a position instruction of a cutting portion of a rotary tool on the basis of a two-dimensional workpiece coordinate system having a Z-axis and an X-axis as coordinate axes. An operator inputs a lead clearance &#x3b1; and a radial clearance &#x3b2; to the preparing apparatus via an input operation section. A processing section converts the NC machining program prepared on the basis of the two-dimensional workpiece coordinate system into an NC machining program including a position instruction of a three-dimensional workpiece coordinate system having the X-axis, a Y-axis and the Z-axis as the coordinate axes, on the basis of the lead clearance &#x3b1; and the radial clearance &#x3b2;.

Method for preparing NC machining program and apparatus for preparing NC machining program

An NC apparatus controls a position of a tool by driving a plurality of shafts with a plurality of servomotors. The shafts includes at least one clamp shaft that can be mechanically clamped or non-clamped. A clamp determining unit determines whether a state of the clamp shaft and outputs a signal based on the state. A correcting unit corrects a position instruction value or a position detection value of at least one shaft other than the clamp shaft based on the signal and a correction value so as to cancel an error in a position of the tool due to movement of the tool performed by the clamp shaft.

Numerical control apparatus and numerical control system

A method for generating a machining program includes inputting a coordinate value and a machining dimension of a portion to be machined with respect to the axis Z for forming a pair of restricting surfaces. The method includes determining the unit machining shape based on the inputted coordinate value and machining dimension and determining a tool in accordance with the determined unit machining shape. The method includes inputting data about cross-sectional shapes of the portion to be machined and a portion resulting from cutting; generating a machining path; and generating the machining program based on the generated machining path and the determined tool. Therefore, a machining program for forming a cut resulting portion eccentrically projecting is generated in an interactive manner.
