A plurality of values measured are relatively compared to determine an optical axis deviation direction in which an optical axis of a measurement beam S deviates from a laser beam L. In performing laser welding in the optical axis deviation direction, an irradiation position of the measurement beam S is changed so that the irradiation position of the measurement beam S is moved to a rear side of the center of the optical axis of the laser beam L in the welding direction.

Laser welding method

A welding torch includes first to third wire passages, a wire detection space, and a wire detecting device. The first wire passage has a first wire inlet port allowing a first welding wire to enter thereto and a first wire outlet port allowing the first welding wire to be output therefrom. The second wire passage has a second wire inlet port allowing a second welding wire to enter thereto and a second wire outlet port allowing the second welding wire to be output therefrom. The third wire passage has a third wire inlet port allowing a portion of the first welding wire output from the first wire outlet port and a portion of the second welding wire output from the second wire outlet port to enter thereto, and a third wire outlet port allowing the portion of the first welding wire and the portion of the second welding wire to be output therefrom. The wire detection space is connected to the first and second wire outlet ports and the third wire inlet port. The wire detection space allows the portions of the first and second welding wire to pass through the wire detection space. The wire detecting device is configured to detect the portion of the first welding wire and the portion of the second welding wire in the wire detection space. The welding torch can switch between the welding wires with a simple structure.

Welding torch

If a short circuit does not occur during deceleration of a wire feed speed in forward feed of a welding wire before the wire feed speed reaches a predetermined wire feed speed, a cyclic change is stopped and the wire feed speed is constantly controlled at the first feed speed. If a short circuit occurs during forward feed at the first feed speed, deceleration from the first feed speed starts, and the cyclic change is resumed for welding. This achieves uniform weld bead without increasing spatters even if any external disturbance such as change of distance between a tip and base material occurs.

Consumable electrode arc welding method and consumable electrode arc welding device

An arc welding control method for carrying out welding by generating an arc between a wire and a base material. The wire is fed at wire feed speed (Wf) of periodically repeating forward feeding and reverse feeding with predetermined frequency and amplitude from time point () at which start of the welding is instructed, or from a certain time point () after the start of the welding is instructed, and then the wire feed speed is changed to a constant speed. Since the wire feed speed is controlled by periodically repeating forward feeding and reverse feeding at the arc start, short-circuit can be opened regardless of the electromagnetic pinch force, and spatters, which are generated at the early stage of the arc start because a molten pool is not preset, can be reduced.

Arc welding control method and arc welding apparatus

There is provided an industrial robot which comprises a manipulator having a tool at the tip end, a robot control unit for controlling the manipulator, and a primary teaching device and subsidiary teaching device for controlling the manipulator through the robot control unit, wherein operation capable of being conducted by the subsidiary teaching device is restricted as compared with operation capable of being conducted by the primary teaching device. By realizing the industrial robot, it is possible to prevent a production line worker from executing a function of the robot which is originally to be executed by a supervisor.

Industrial robot

Accommodating a welding control cable for connecting a welding power supply and a robot main body and a wire feeder sensor cable connected to a wire feeder encoder in a robot main body driving power cable connecting the robot main body and the robot controller of an arc welding robot. This configuration saves the number of cables to be connected thus improving the installation workability in system deployment on site as well as reducing the overall cost.

Arc welding robot

A robot main body is provided with a protection cover. The robot main body can be swung by a rotary pipe shaft holding a wire feed device and including a hollow portion and is structured such that a connecting cable and/or a gas hose are guided through the hollow portion of the rotary pipe shaft and are then guided through the forearm portion and base portion thereof. The protection cover covers the portions of the connecting cable and/or gas hose ranging from the connecting portion of the wire feed device and connecting cable and/or gas hose to the rotary pipe shaft.
