A rotation angle detecting device includes: a magnet member placed in a shaft member to face a magneto-electric conversion element and detecting a rotation angle of the shaft member in response to a relative rotation of the magnet member with respect to the magneto-electric conversion element, wherein the magnet member has a magnet where a groove formed in a rectangular parallelepiped body having maximum surfaces orthogonal to an axis of the shaft member is formed to be open to one maximum surface side of the rectangular parallelepiped body and extend in parallel to a short-side lateral surface of the rectangular parallelepiped body, and is magnetized along the groove with respect to the magnet.

Rotation angle detecting device

A rotational sensor includes a detection element accommodated in a case and detecting a rotational motion of a rotor located outside the case to output a rotational signal, a terminal physically and electrically connected to the detection element, a connecting member electrically connected to the terminal to output the rotational signal from the terminal outside the rotational sensor and an elastic body fitted into the case by press-fitting and through which the terminal is inserted.

Rotational sensor

Disclosed is a rotation detecting sensor suitable for use under a vibration-abundant condition as e.g. a sensor disposed in an automobile body for detecting rotation of an engine or ABS. The sensor includes a detecting element for detecting rotation of a rotary body as a change in a magnetic flux and outputting a signal and an integrated circuit for processing the amplified signal into a pulse corresponding to the detected rotation of the rotary body. The signal processing includes an initialization such as a gain adjustment for obtaining an appropriate gain for use in the subsequent process of conversion of the amplified signal to the pulse. According to this invention, a re-initialization is effected to obtain a new initial value such as a new gain if the previously effected initialization is determined inappropriate.

Rotation detecting sensor

A rotation detection sensor for inhibiting the invasion of high temperature and high pressure fluid includes a holder, a detection element, a case body, and a housing. The tip end portion of the holder at which is located the detection element is accommodated in the case body and the rear end portion of the holder is covered by the housing. A first groove accommodating a first O-ring is formed on the external peripheral surface of the holder, and a second groove accommodating a second O-ring is formed on the external peripheral surface of the holder toward the tip end side relative to the first groove. A method for forming the sensor involves positioning the case body and the holder in a recess portion of a die, and injecting resin into the die to form the housing covering the rear end portion of the holder.

Rotation detection sensor and method for manufacturing a rotation detection sensor

A threshold value at a side of a bottom value of a sensor signal is renewed by a value calculated by multiplying a minimum value of a deviation between the bottom value and a reference value for the predetermined period of time by a ratio when the minimum value of the deviation is equal to or smaller than the threshold value. A threshold value at a side of a peak value thereof is also renewed by a value calculated by multiplying a minimum vale of a deviation between the peak value and the reference value from the predetermined period of time by a ratio when the minimum value of the deviation is equal to or smaller than the threshold value.
