To enable a hydrogen tank to be efficiently filled with hydrogen even when the hydrogen tank has a large capacity, hydrogen filling at the nozzle flow is prohibited when the nozzle flow of a nozzle is larger than the receptacle flow of a receptacle or when the receptacle flow is unknown under the condition that the nozzle and the receptacle can be connected to each other.

A combination vehicle includes a tractor and a trailer towed by the tractor. The trailer includes a first tank that is configured to store a high-pressure gas as a fuel used by the tractor to travel. An intake device for an internal combustion engine configures a flow passage for intake air that is drawn into combustion chambers. The intake device includes an intake manifold configuring multiple runners that respectively distribute intake air to multiple cylinders, a surge tank including a cavity that is connected to the runners and defines a convergence portion, a throttle body incorporating a throttle valve, and a connection pipe connecting the surge tank and the throttle body and configuring a curved flow passage extending between the throttle body and the surge tank. The connection pipe includes a partition plate that divides the curved flow passage into a circumferentially inner flow passage and a circumferentially outer flow passage.

Intake device for internal combustion engine

A high-pressure tank in which a liner can be formed using the conventionally used material, a decrease in the volumetric efficiency within the liner can be suppressed, and influence of a temperature rise due to adiabatic compression on the liner can be significantly alleviated. The tank includes a liner that suppresses permeation of gas; a valve device that allows the inside of the liner and the outside of the tank to communicate with each other and blocks communication therebetween; and an inner container with a through-hole disposed within the liner such that a gap is formed between the inner container and an inner periphery of the liner. The first communication channel of the valve device connects with a pipe extending in the gap and having holes therein. Gas supplied to the valve device is supplied into the gap from the holes in the pipe, and fills the inner container in a high-pressure state from the gap through the through-hole in the inner container.

A moving body, such as a vehicle, having one or more fuel cells mounted thereon. The fuel cells, which power the moving body, generate electricity and release water as a by-product. Accordingly, the moving body includes a water discharge module that releases water produced by the fuel cells to the atmosphere using a water outlet. The water outlet may be located in a front section of the moving body. The moving body may further include a water tank that temporarily stores water before releasing the water to the atmosphere.

The procedure of the invention sets a release amount of water and selects one or multiple positions for water release, based on the driving conditions including the vehicle speed and the acceleration, the turning state, activation or non-activation of skid reduction control, the distance from any object detected by clearance sonars, a distance from a subsequent vehicle measured by an extremely high frequency radar, and the presence of raindrops detected by a raindrop detection sensor, and releases the water accumulated in the recovery tank from water outlets at the selected one or multiple positions among water outlets at multiple different locations. This arrangement ensures adequate release of the water produced by the fuel cell stack to the atmosphere.

In a humidifying membrane module, a humidifying membrane having plural hollow fiber membranes bundled together is housed in a humidifying membrane chassis having a cylindrical outer periphery, and the humidifying membrane chassis is housed in an assembly chassis having a cylindrical inner periphery. The assembly chassis has an inlet port for taking air that is made to flow into hollow parts of the humidifying membrane, an outlet port for discharging the air, an inlet port for taking an off-gas that is made to flow in gaps in the humidifying membrane, and an outlet port for discharging the off-gas. The air and the off-gas flow in flow paths formed by utilizing the humidifying membrane chassis and the assembly chassis, but are not mixed with each other at positions other than the humidifying membrane owing to annular sealing members provided between the humidifying chassis and the assembly chassis.

A gas processing device for mixing a first gas (H2) and a second gas (air) comprises a flow passage () through which the second gas (air) passes, an inflow port () for introducing the first gas (H2) in a non-parallel direction to the flow direction of the second gas (air) within the flow passage (), and a housing () for sealing a part of the flow passage (). The flow passage () comprises hole structures (), through which the second gas (air) and first gas (H2) pass in and out, in at least a part of the region sealed by the housing (). According to this constitution, the hole structures generate turbulence, and hence the degree of mixing between the first gas (H2) and second gas (air) can be improved, enabling a uniform reduction in the gas concentration.
