The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a vinyl chloride resin composition having exceptional impact resistance, processability, and heat resistance. The present invention provides: a resin composition that contains 3-15 parts by mass of a rubber-based impact-absorbing material and 0.1-10 parts by mass of a modified olefin wax per 100 parts by mass of a vinyl chloride resin. This resin composition satisfies the following requirements (I)-(III). (I) The chlorine content of the vinyl chloride resin is 55-75% by mass. (II) The glass transition temperature (Tg) in differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) of the rubber-based impact-absorbing material (B) is 0&#xb0; C. or lower. (III) The modified olefin wax contains at least one polar group selected from halogens and carboxylic acid derivatives, and the polar group content is within the range of 0.1-50% by mass.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a polar-group-containing propylene-type wax having excellent properties including a low melting point. A modified propylene-(&#x3b1;-olefin) copolymer (A) according to the present invention is produced by grafting at least one compound selected from an unsaturated carboxylic acid, a derivative of the unsaturated carboxylic acid and an unsaturated sulfonic acid salt onto a propylene-(&#x3b1;-olefin) copolymer (A1) and has an acid value of 1 to 100 KOHmg/g, wherein the propylene-(&#x3b1;-olefin) copolymer (A1) comprises 60 to 95 mol % of a propylene-derived constituent unit (a) and 5 to 40 mol % of a constituent unit (b) derived from an &#x3b1;-olefin having 4 or more carbon atoms, and satisfies the specific requirements (i) to (iii).

The present invention relates to an olefin-based paint. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a paint with excellent organic solvent solubility or dispersibility, low paint viscosity, minimal coating irregularities even at high concentrations, excellent handling and storage stability, and excellent blocking resistance and coated film stability. In order to meet this purpose, an olefin-based paint is used that is characterized by containing a solution or dispersion obtained by dissolving or dispersing 0.1-55 parts by mass of a propylene-&#x3b1;-olefin copolymer (A) for 100 parts by mass of an organic solvent. The copolymer (A) is characterized by containing 60-90 mol % of propylene-derived constituent units (a) having a weight-average molecular weight (Mw), measured by GPC, in the range of 3,000 to 40,000, and 10-40 mol % of &#x3b1;-olefin-derived constituent units (b) having 4 or more carbon atoms [wherein (a)+(b)=100 mol %].

Olefin-based paint containing propylene/&#x3b1;-olefin copolymer

Provided are a propylene-based polymer useful for providing a toner that is excellent in offset resistance, can be fixed by using a low-temperature heating element and hardly has stickiness even after stored for a long period of time; and a toner including said propylene-based polymer. The present invention is directed to a propylene/&#x3b1;-olefin copolymer (A) which includes 60 to 90 mol % of structural units derived from propylene (a) and 10 to 40 mol % of structural units derived from &#x3b1;-olefins having 4 or more carbon atom (b) wherein (a)+(b)=100 mol % and which satisfies: (i) a weight average molecular weight (Mw) as measured by GPC of 3,000 to 40,000; (ii) a melting point (Tm) as measured by DSC of 60 to 90&#xb0; C.; and (iii) a half width of a crystalline melting point peak as measured by DSC of 1 to 20&#xb0; C.
