A management software process establishes management sessions with DAW processes and controllers on a network. Further, control sessions are established between the DAW processes and controllers, respectively. Thus, the control sessions between DAW processes and controllers included in one music system can be managed together by the management software process via a dedicated management session.

Music system managing method

In an apparatus having a display for supplying parameters to a mixing system, a first display control section controls the display to present a scene list containing identifications of each scene and configuration data of the mixing system specified by first specification data contained in each scene. A scene selection acceptance section accepts selection of a scene from the scene list presented on the display. A second display control section controls the display to present operation data of the mixing system specified by second specification data contained in the selected scene, such that the display presents each portion of the operation data. Each portion contains one option of the operation data specified by the second specification data in manner distinguishable from another option not specified by the second specification data.

Parameter supply apparatus for audio mixing system

In an audio signal processing system, a plurality of audio signal processing apparatuses are previously linked to form a zone, and logically defined as devices belonging to a zone, and further the devices are grouped into a plurality of device groups within the zone. Each of the audio signal processing apparatuses includes a device group table that registers information specifying controls which are performed in respective audio signal processing apparatuses belonging to a device group in case that a group control command is given for collectively controlling the device group, and a master table that registers information specifying controls which are performed in respective device groups included in the zone in case that a zone control command is given for collectively controlling the zone. Both the collective control of the zone and the collective control of the device group are performed.

Audio signal processing system

When a PC connected to a mixer engine functions as an editing device to edit a configuration of signal processing in the mixer engine, components and wires included in the edited configuration of signal processing are displayed within a CAD screen on a display of the PC, and a delay amount occurring in processing corresponding to each of the components and wires when the mixer engine executes the signal processing is displayed in correspondence with each of the components and wires on the CAD screen. In this case, the delay amount corresponding to each wire is a value determined according to a result of assignment in which signal processing corresponding to each component is assigned to a plurality of signal processors in the mixer engine.

Editing device and audio signal processing system

In a PC that controls a mixer engine having a programmable DSP, any object such as a knob or the like is enabled to be duplicated from a control screen corresponding to various signal processing components and disposed at any position on a user control screen to make it possible to use the user control screen as a control screen editable by a user. When an object such as a knob is designated in the user control screen and a predetermined direction is issued, a menu is displayed on a display. Then, when 'Open Original' is selected from the menu, it is understood that display of the control screen including an original of the designated object is directed, and the control screen is displayed on the display.

Control device for controlling audio signal processing device

There is input type information defining a type of portable terminal as well as various music composing parameters. Automatic music composition process is carried out on the basis of the input type information and music composing parameters, so as to generate musical composition data suitable for reproduction on a portable terminal of the type indicated by the type information. Balance in predetermined musical characteristics of the generated musical composition data can also be achieved by adjusting the predetermined musical characteristics in accordance with the type of portable terminal. It is also possible to convert the generated musical composition data into a predetermined data format suiting the type of a portable terminal to be used. The generated musical composition data may be transmitted online to the portable terminal.
