The present invention provides a chemical analyzer with highly reliable agitation performance, said chemical analyzer not only diagnosing the deterioration of a piezoelectric element, but also diagnosing the deformation and displacement of a reaction container and diagnosing the normality of the liquid quantity of a substance to be agitated in the reaction container. This chemical analyzer is characterized by comprising: an agitating mechanism that uses acoustic waves to agitate a sample and a reagent within a reaction container, generates acoustic waves using a piezoelectric element, and has an acoustic wave sensor for detecting the acoustic waves; and a controller that controls the agitating mechanism. Said chemical analyzer is further characterized in that the controller has: an acoustic wave detection unit that processes a detection signal detected by the acoustic wave sensor; a normality information memory in which normal-time information is stored; a signal intensity determination unit that compares the acoustic wave amplitude and acoustic wave frequency transmitted from the acoustic wave detection unit with the acoustic wave amplitude and acoustic wave frequency stored in the normality information memory; and a repeat period determination unit that compares the acoustic wave period characteristic transmitted from the acoustic wave detection unit with the acoustic wave period characteristic stored in the normality information memory.

The automatic analysis device is provided with (1) a measurement mechanism having a light measuring unit having a reaction container in which the sample is dispensed, a light source which emits light to the reaction container, and a detection unit that detects scattered light from the sample in the reaction container, (2) an amplifier circuit unit having an adder-subtractor that adds or subtracts a correction signal to or from a first measurement signal from the detection unit, and an amplifier circuit which amplifies the output signal by the adder-subtractor at a fixed amplification rate to output a second measurement signal, and (3) an arithmetic operation unit which calculates the correction signal on the basis of a difference between the signal level of the second measurement signal and a target value, and which executes an analysis action based on the second measurement signal after correction by means of the correction signal.

In blood coagulation time measurement, the reaction time relies on the blood coagulation ability of a specimen and is not fixed. In particular, in module-type devices, errors may occur in the specimen processing, measurement number, and measurement time between a plurality of blood coagulation analysis units, leading to the risk of lowering the processing capability of the device as a whole. The present invention is a module-type automated analyzer provided with a plurality of blood coagulation analysis units capable of analyzing blood coagulation time items in which the reaction time between a specimen and a reagent differs depending on the specimen, wherein a control unit that controls the specimen rack conveying operation finds the total of forecasted measurement times of measurement items requested for specimens being analyzed and queued specimens in each of the plurality of blood coagulation analysis units, and determines the conveyance destination of the specimen rack on the basis of the total of the forecasted measurement times that was found.
