A timepiece movement capable of suppressing generation of malfunction of a hand is provided. The movement includes an indicator hand wheel which is provided so as to be rotatable and to which an indicator hand is mounted; an indicator hand stepping motor rotating and driving the indicator hand wheel in both directions; an hour wheel provided so as to be rotatable around a first rotation axis different from a rotation axis of the indicator hand wheel and having a first shaft portion which extends along the first rotation axis and on the outer peripheral surface of which there is provided a contact portion that the indicator hand can abut, with the distance of the contact portion from the first rotation axis varying in accordance with a position in the peripheral direction around the first rotation axis; and an hour hand stepping motor rotating and driving the hour wheel and provided separately from the indicator hand stepping motor.

Timepiece movement and timepiece

A timepiece movement includes a motor that has a rotor for rotating an indicating hand, a control unit that rotates the rotor by using a main drive pulse and an auxiliary drive pulse, and that determines a reference position of the indicating hand by detecting a rotation state of the rotor when the indicating hand is rotated using a detection drive pulse based on the main drive pulse, a train wheel that transmits a drive force of the motor to the indicating hand, and that has an indicating hand gear and a second intermediate pinion which mesh with each other, and an elastic portion that is disposed in the indicating hand gear, and that is elastically deformed by coming into contact with the second intermediate pinion when the indicating hand is located at the reference position.

A chronograph timepiece includes heart cams, a start-stop button, a reset-to-zero button, and a start-stop lever and a reset-to zero instruction lever operated by the start-stop button and the reset-to-zero button, respectively, for undergoing rotation around a common rotation center. A hammer operating lever rotates in a first direction when the start-stop lever rotates and rotates in a second direction when the reset-to-zero instruction lever rotates. When the hammer operating lever rotates in the second direction, a hammer lever causes the heart cams to be reset to zero by bringing hammer portions of the hammer lever into engagement with respective ones of the heart cams. When the hammer operating lever rotates in the first direction, the hammer lever causes the hammer portions to be disengaged from the heart cams.

Chronograph timepiece

An electronic pedometer has a case, a main circuit board mounted on the case and supporting an electronic circuit element for signal processing, and a sub-circuit board separate and independent from the main circuit board and mounted to a portion of the case. An acceleration sensor is mounted on the sub-circuit board for detecting a walk of a user and outputting a walk signal corresponding to the walk. A flexible conductive member electrically connects the main circuit board and the sub-circuit board to one another.

Electronic pedometer

To provide an electronic pedometer in which there is adapted such that a step number is counted by a walk motion of a user, and the step number is not counted by a motion other than a walk of the user. An electronic pedometer has a timepiece case, a signal processing part having been accommodated in the timepiece case, and an acceleration sensor and a slant sensor, which have been accommodated while holding their horizontal states. The signal processing part judges, in a case where the slant sensor has outputted a horizontality signal, whether or not an acceleration signal, that the slant sensor has generated in a horizontality time till a time at which it has thereafter outputted a slant signal, is a true walk signal, when there has been judged to be the true walk signal, it performs a walk addition and, when there has been judged not to be the true walk signal, it performs a signal processing so as not to perform the walk addition.
