An absorbent article including an absorbent main body including an absorbent body. The absorbent main body having a longitudinal direction conforming to a vertical direction; and waist-circumference sections in a pair respectively located on one end side and another end side in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent main body. The waist-circumference sections each including an elastic memberstretchable in a lateral direction. The absorbent main body including a pair of extension sections respectively extending outward on two sides of the absorbent body. The extension sections each having an elastic member stretchable in the vertical direction. The extension sections are formed extending laterally outward from a position on a non-skin side of the absorbent body using a continuous sheet that is continuous in the lateral direction. A welded region having a predetermined length in the lateral direction is in a portion where each of the extension sections forms a leg opening.

Absorbent article and method for manufacturing pull-on absorbent article including leg-circumference extension sections

A pull-on absorbent article includes: an absorbent main body including an absorbent body along a vertical direction; and waist-circumference sections in a pair respectively located on one end side and another end side of the absorbent main body, the waist-circumference sections each including an elastic member stretchable in a lateral direction, the absorbent main body including extension sections in a pair respectively extending outward on two lateral sides of the absorbent body, the extension sections each having an elastic member stretchable in the vertical direction placed therein, the extension sections each forming a leg opening and including an overlap portion that overlaps in the vertical direction with at least one of the waist-circumference sections in a pair, the overlap portion having at least a part joined to the waist-circumference section, the overlap portion of the extension section having a welded region having a predetermined lateral length placed therein.

Provided is a wearing article that can prevent the folding of a waist panel. In a disposable wearing article that includes a waist panel for forming first and second waist regions, a liquid absorbent structure that extends from a crotch region to the first and rear waist regions and includes a liquid absorbent core, a waist opening, and a pair of leg openings, and at least in the first waist region out of the first and second waist regions, the liquid absorbent structure includes an end portion that extends from the end edge of the liquid absorbent core to the side of the waist opening, and the outer end edge of the end portion extends to the edge of the waist opening.

Disposable wearing article

A pull-on disposable diaper includes a front side portion; a back side portion; a crotch portion; a waist opening; and a pair of leg openings. An edge portion of the waist opening of the front side portion includes a recessed portion that is recessed in the lengthwise direction toward the crotch portion with respect to an edge portion of the waist opening of the back side portion. A tape member is fixed on a non-skin side surface of the back side portion so as to be extendable toward the waist opening in the lengthwise direction, the tape member being used for fixing the diaper in a small state in the lengthwise direction when the diaper is disposed of. The recessed portion is provided at a position corresponding to the tape member in the lateral direction.

Pull-on disposable diaper

A disposable pull-on diaper having a central inelastic region in at least one of a front waist region and a rear waist region, and a method for manufacturing the same. Front and rear waist regions of a disposable pull-on diaper are respectively of an elastically non-stretchable exterior sheet and elastically stretchable interior sheets. In lateral elastic regions of this waist region, the interior sheets are attached under tension to an interior surface of the exterior sheet and, in a central inelastic region, the interior sheets are spaced apart from each other in a transverse direction and regions of the interior sheets are in an elastically contracted and relaxed state in vicinities of the lateral elastic regions.

Disposable pull-on diaper having interior elastic sheets and exterior non-elastic sheets

A disposable wearing article in which waist elastics are attached at least in a rear waist region of front and rear waist regions so that a space between a core and the wearer's skin is formed which functions as a pocket for retaining excretions such as feces or the like. A diaper includes front and rear waist panels in which front and rear waist elastics are attached and a crotch panel extending therebetween. With regard to the crotch panel, front and rear end edges are joined to the skin facing sides of the front and rear waist panels respectively such that the front and rear end edges of the core are overlapped with the front and rear waist panels. In the front and rear waist panels, inelastic regions, first elastic regions, and second elastic regions are formed respectively. In the crotch panel, a pair of first cuffs in which the gasket elastics is attached are formed, and the front and rear end portions are intersected with the front and rear waist elastics in the gasket elastics.

An interior body of a disposable diaper includes a liquid-permeable front sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet and a liquid-retaining absorbent core. The front sheet has a single sheet including spunbond layers on the front side and back side and a melt blown layer between the spunbond layers. The absorbent core has fiber aggregates and super-absorbent polymer particles. The front sheet is directly bonded to the skin side surface of the absorbent core. The length of the front sheet is longer than the length of the absorbent core, so that the front sheet has extended sections which extend outward in the lengthwise direction from both ends of the absorbent core in the lengthwise direction, while the extended sections are each continuously connected in the transverse direction with the front sheet or back sheet which overlaps with the extended section. The extended sections can directly contact the skin of the wearer.

Absorbent article

A disposable diaper is provided with an outer body including a belly side portion and a back side portion, and an inner body. The belly side portion and back side portion of the outer body each has a plurality of waist elastic members extending in parallel to each other in the transverse direction. The outer body has an annular waist gather region, a belly side pressing region, a back side pressing region, and an annular tightening region. The area of the back side pressing region is smaller than the area of the belly side pressing region, and the contractile force of the back side pressing region is smaller than the contractile force of the belly side pressing region, and is no greater than 0.35N, and the contractile force per unit width of the tightening region is no less than 0.45N/25 mm.

Here is disclosed an open-type disposable wearing article composed of a front waist region, a rear waist region and a crotch region extending between these waist regions wherein tape fasteners used to connect the front and rear waist to each other are attached to side flaps in the rear waist region and each of the side flaps has a first zone adapted to cover a surface facing a wearer's body of the fixed end portion of the associated tape fastener and a second zone defined by the side flap except for the first zone and wherein the first zone has a basis weight higher than that of the second zone.

A disposable diaper includes a liquid-pervious topsheet, a liquid-impervious backsheet, a liquid-absorbent core interposed between these top- and backsheets, and an indicator by which it is perceptible from outside the backsheet whether urination has occurred or not. The indicator has a liquid-pervious intermediate sheet hydrophilically modified by coating of a hydrophobic fibrous nonwoven fabric with surfactant and a water-soluble coloring agent depicting a given figure which is perceptible from outside the backsheet. The intermediate sheet is interposed between the backsheet and the core and the coloring agent is applied on the surface of the intermediate sheet opposed to the backsheet.

A disposable wearing article includes liquid-pervious topsheets, a liquid-impervious chassis and first and second liquid-absorbent panels. A first absorbent panel is covered with the topsheet and lies on the side of a front waist region. A second absorbent panel is interposed between the topsheet and chassis and continuously lies in a crotch region and a rear waist region. The first absorbent panel has a proximal end extending close to one of end flaps in a transverse direction and a first distal end supposed, along its transversely opposite side edges, to distal side edges of respective leakage-barrier cuffs so that an excrement receiving pocket adapted to open from the front waist region toward a crotch region is defined between the chassis and the first distal end of the first absorbent panel.

A disposable diaper that includes a pair of tape fasteners extending outward from transversely opposite side edge portions of a rear waist region and a target tape strip to which the tape fasteners are anchored and attached to a outer surface of a backsheet in a front waist region. Hook members are provided on surfaces of the respective tape fasteners facing the target tape strip. Portions of the respective hook members defined in the vicinity of their inner side edges and lying in the vicinity of the transversely opposite side edge portions of to rear waist region are set free from the respective tape fasteners.

A disposable undergarment that includes a liquid-impervious base sheet and a liquid-absorbent structure lying on a wearer's skin side surface of the base sheet. The base sheet includes a breathable but liquid-impervious plastic film and a fibrous nonwoven fabric joined to the plastic film to define an undergarment side surface, the base sheet having a total luminous transmittance in a range between 60 and 85%.

A laminated panel including at least two sheet members which are overlapped with and joined to each other with adhesives B to B applied on at least one of inner surfaces of the sheet members. A disposable diaper includes a pair of barrier flaps formed on an inner side of a disposable diaper. The barrier flaps are made of a spun bond nonwoven fabric of wick/sleeve type conjugated fibers having a polyethylen sleeve component. The spun bond nonwoven fabric has a relative hardness of 40&tilde;50 mm in an MD-direction, 20&tilde;37 mm in a CD-direction as measured by the cantilever method and a basis weight of 15&tilde;30 g/m . The respective barrier flaps are provided in their sealing surface zones with elastic members secured under tension thereto.
