In a CP server, when a copyright determination unit determines that requested content is copyrighted content, a set up unit sets up a copyrighted content public URL comprising information that can specify a memory region where copyrighted content is stored, and corresponding to a content delivery request by a cellular phone, a transmission unit transmits the copyrighted content public URL together with the copyrighted content, to the cellular phone. Then, a cellular phone acquires the copyrighted content public URL together with the copyrighted content, and attaches the copyrighted content public URL to an electronic mail message which is transmitted to another cellular phone. The other cellular phone can use the received copyrighted content public URL to request the CP server to deliver the copyrighted content.

Content transmission system, transmission server, communication terminal, and content transmission method

Direct content redistribution between users belonging to the same community is enabled. A portable telephone set issues a request to a community management server to register portable telephone sets belonging to a community, in association with the community, and the community management server performs community registration. The portable telephone sets issue requests to the community management server for permission to redistribute content which has been distributed from a CP server, and when the redistribution permission request is for registered portable telephone sets belonging to the same community, the community management server grants permission for the redistribution. By this means, content redistribution can be performed directly between users belonging to the same community, without the intervention of the CP server.

Community management server, communication terminal, content transmission system, and content transmission method

A transmitting apparatus transmits its own identification information to a terminal station and controls the terminal station to transmit to a relay apparatus a delivery permission registration request including the identification information and the email address of the user of the terminal station. On receiving the delivery permission registration request, the relay apparatus, then, stores in a delivery permission table the identification information of the transmitting apparatus corresponding to the email address, and controls the terminal station to transmit to the transmitting apparatus recipient registration request including the email address. Finally, the transmitting apparatus stores in a recipient list the email address included in the received recipient registration request. Accordingly, an email delivery system is provided, in which, while an email address of a user is registered at a transmitting apparatus offering an email service providing information, the transmitting apparatus offering the email service providing information is surely registered in a delivery permission table, so as to receive only emails which are not regarded as junk mails.

Mobile device MS displays an unreceived mail list acquired from gateway server GWS by executing a browser. A user selects a desired e-mail by referring to the unreceived mail list. Prior to that gateway server GWS transmits e-mails to mobile device MS, gateway server GWS transmits to mobile device MS, an HTML header including predetermined character strings which are a field name (X-IMTMAIL) and a field value (WEB). Then, mobile device MS activates a mailer, and prepares to receive and store e-mails transmitted from gateway server GWS.

A mobile phone stores a plurality of profile data, each including a portal URL. A user of the mobile phone selects for use data of a profile including the portal URL. When a Java-AP running on the mobile phone transmits to JAM an instruction for a communication, JAM stores the domain name of the portal URL included in the selected profile data as information about the inhibited destination of a communication performed by the Java-AP. JAM restricts communications performed by a Java-AP on the basis of the information about the inhibited destination stored by JAM. Thus, communications from a Java-AP running on the mobile phone to the server apparatus assigned with the domain name of the portal URL may be inhibited by selection of profile data including a portal URL.

Communication terminal having a function to inhibit connection to a particular site and program thereof

An e-mail management apparatus is provided, which enables a customer to select an active e-mail account freely and to read e-mails stored in the mailbox corresponding to the inactive e-mail account. E-mail management apparatus receives an e-mail transmitted from a node in the Internet, stores the received e-mail in a storage location corresponding to a terminal identifier, the terminal identifier corresponding to an e-mail account, and the e-mail account corresponding to the destination e-mail address of the e-mail forwards the received e-mail to the communication terminal designated by the terminal identifier corresponding to the e-mail account, when the e-mail account corresponding to the destination e-mail address of the e-mail is active. Character strings for selecting received emails are registered in an email server apparatus (). When receiving an email addressed to the user of a mobile phone (), the email server apparatus () uses the character strings to select the email. Information retrieval method and relay center

When a gateway server GWS receives an access demand to an IP server from a cellular phone MS via a mobile packet communication network MPN, the gateway server acquires information corresponding to a hostname included in the access demand from a primary conversion table T. When the obtained information is a wide area IP address, gateway server GWS relays the access demand to a IP server on the Internet INET on the basis of the wide area IP address. When the obtained information is identification of a closed area network, gateway server GWS further acquires a closed area IP address corresponding to the hostname included in the access demand and relays the access demand to a IP server on the basis of the closed area IP address in the LAN corresponding to the identification of the closed area network.
