The present invention is an integrated pump having structure where a plurality of cell pumps having an inlet and an outlet to discharge fluid drawn from a consolidated inlet to the consolidated outlet is connected in series or parallel. A plurality of cell pump may be connected in parallel to constitute an integrated pumps. The integrated pump of the present invention can obtain a desired output connecting in series and parallel a number of cell pumps. For a high output integrated pump where many cell pumps are connected to provide high capacity and high head, by unitizing the individual cell pumps during transportation or installation, the transportation and installation work for the integrated pump can be easily done.

Integrated pump with serial-connected pump units arranged in parallel

An inline type pump in which a rotor having an axial flow vane is arranged inside the cylindrical stator. The fluid is discharged from the discharging port after a rotating kinetic energy of the fluid transferred by the axial flow vane toward the discharging port is changed into a static pressure energy at the pressure chamber. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to increase a fluid supplying efficiency after satisfying a small-sized structure and further it is possible to increase an output of the pump as well as its efficiency.

A motor-driven pump with a plurality of impellers, includes a pump housing provided on an electric motor, and an impeller unit provided in an inner space of the housing, the housing having two fluid inlet port regions on two sides near and away from the motor in a longitudinal direction of an output shaft of the motor, and having one fluid discharge port region between the inlet port regions, and the unit including a pair of impellers having a partition wall fixed to the output shaft, directing to the discharge port region, and partitioning the inner space into two portions near and away from the motor, and a pair of blade groups provided on both sides of the partition wall.

An electric motor pump with axial-flow impellers includes an electric motor having an output shaft both end portions of which are connected to axial-flow impeller units, and a pair of pump housings provided on both sides of the motor in the longitudinal direction of the output shaft and including fluid inlet and outlet ports, the pump housings cooperating with the impeller units to suck fluid into the housings through the inlet ports, move the fluid in the longitudinal direction and discharge the fluid from the outlet ports, thrust forces applied to the output shaft by the impeller units are canceled.

A swimming assistance apparatus according to the present invention includes a base combined with a human body and a motor-driven pump provided in a base. The motor-driven pump has a water inlet and a water outlet to operate by a battery so as to generate water flow from the water inlet to the water outlet. Several kinds of structure can be used for the base. For example, a buoyant hull having a pair of grips at front sides and a controller adjacent to the grips, a base having a handle, the buoyancy of which is set little higher more than 0 and a belt detachably attached to a human body can be used for the base. The swimming assistance apparatus according to the present invention uses the motor-driven pump as driving source, so that the apparatus can be made smaller and lighter, and the apparatus can improve safety.

There are provided water supplying pumps and check valves in the connecting pipe passage connecting a plurality of water supplying tanks arranged for each of the floors, and the connecting pipe passage connecting the water supplying tank at the lowermost floor with a water pipe. The water supplying tanks are provided with dampers having air chambers. Hydraulic pressure in each of the water supplying tanks is detected, operation of the water supplying pump is controlled in response to the hydraulic pressure, thereby the hydraulic pressures in all the water supplying tanks are made equal and the variation in hydraulic pressure of the water supplying tanks is absorbed by the dampers. With such an arrangement as above, even if the variation in hydraulic pressure is severe, the water supplying pump does not show any gradual repeating of stopping of driving and so control of the hydraulic pressure can be carried out accurately and easily.

A polyphase motor apparatus comprises a rotor having a rotating shaft and a plurality of permanent magnets connected therearound, a stator for holding the rotor rotatably and provided so as to surround the rotor, having n phases (n is an integer which is three or more) and n&times;m (m is an integer which is one or more) magnetic poles, in which each of n pairs of the magnetic poles adjacent to each other is wound with a core wire an end of which is connected to a common terminal (&plus;E), such that one magnetic pole is a first magnetic polarity and the other magnetic pole is a second magnetic polarity different from the first magnetic polarity, and the n-phase voltage from outside is applied between the common terminal and the other end of the core wire of each pair so as to generate a magnetic field for rotating the rotor.

An electric pump of the present invention includes a stator assembly having an annular transverse section, and a rotor assembly rotatably supported in a center hole of the stator assembly and selectively rotating in a desired direction in cooperation with the stator assembly. At least a portion of an outer peripheral surface of the rotor assembly is formed into a shape of a blade for an axial-flow pump.

A three-phase reluctance motor includes, a stator having a plurality of magnetic poles around which coils corresponding to three phases are wound, a rotatable rotor having a plurality of convex poles opposed to the magnetic poles of the stator, a magnet provided on the rotor for magnetizing alternately the convex poles to N- and S-polarities in a circumferential direction, and a control circuit for magnetically exciting selectively only two of the three phases to the N- and S-polarities, respectively, and for sequentially switching two phases which are to be excited, to thereby rotate drive the rotor.

A stepping motor in which a rectangular stator core in the shape of a square frame has poles in the center of the inner side edges of sides thereof, four coils are wound on the poles of stator core, and a rotor is disposed in the space surrounded with the coils and having the height of each of poles being made 0.24 to 0.5 times as much as the outside diameter of the rotor. Each of poles has at the end thereof a plurality of projections according to a step angle. The rotor has projections on the peripheral surface thereof according to the step of the pole.
