A heat exchanger includes tubes arranged in one direction, and a corrugated fin provided between the tubes. The corrugated fin includes joints joined to the tubes, and fin bodies that connect the joints which are located next to each other along the wave shape. The fin body includes a cut-raised portion that has a shape in which a part of the fin body is cut and raised for promotion of heat transfer. The cut-raised portion includes a cut-raised end on at least one end of the cut-raised portion in the one direction. The cut-raised end has recesses and projections on its surface that increase hydrophilicity of the surface of the cut-raised end.

Heat exchanger and corrugated fin

A heat exchanger includes a tube, a corrugated fin, and a plurality of grooves. The corrugated fin has a plurality of bent portions and a plurality of fin main bodies disposed between the bent portions. The multiple grooves are arranged at specified intervals from each other and are formed on a surface of the corrugated fin to enhance the hydrophilicity of the surface. The corrugated fin includes a first thick portion in which at least one of the grooves is included and a second thick portion thicker than the first thick portion in a cross-sectional view along an extending direction of the bent portions.

A cold storage heat exchanger includes: a plurality of refrigerant tubes disposed at intervals, each of the refrigerant tubes including a refrigerant passage that allows a refrigerant to flow therethrough; a cold storage material adjacent to the refrigerant tubes; and a heat transfer suppressor that suppresses heat transfer from the refrigerant tubes to the cold storage material in an overheated area of the refrigerant formed in the refrigerant passage.

Cold storage heat exchanger

A cold storage heat exchanger includes a plurality of tubes, a coolant flowing in the tubes, a cold storage material container joined to the tubes, the cold storage material container defining a room that houses a cold storage material, and a distribution tank unit that distributes the coolant to the tubes. A coolant passage is formed in the tubes and the distribution tank unit. The distribution tank unit includes an aperture plate that reduces a passage cross-sectional area of the coolant passage. Among the plurality of tubes, the cold storage material container is joined to at least a tube disposed upstream in a coolant flow direction from the aperture plate in the coolant passage. Accordingly, cold storage performance may be improved.

An evaporator is provided with a refrigerant pipe, a cold storage case which has inner fins mounted therein, and air-side fins. The evaporator is characterized in that the cold storage case is provided with: a filling opening for filling the cold storage case with a cold storage material; a first flow passage connecting to the filling opening and extending in the same direction as the direction of inflow of the cold storage material; and a second flow passage connecting to the first flow passage and extending in the direction intersecting the first flow passage.

Evaporator

A cold storage heat exchanger has refrigerant pipes fins, and cold-storage-medium containers. The cold-storage-medium container is arranged next to the refrigerant pipe. A cold storage medium is accommodated in the cold-storage-medium container in order to leave an air cell, and to provide a filling ratio of less than 90%. The cold-storage-medium container has a plurality of depressions at an inside of the cold-storage-medium container. The depression is a dimple. The plurality of depressions are joined each other at top parts and provide high rigidity. The cold-storage-medium container is positioned on the refrigerant pipe by an engaging projection. An open end of an open depression is covered by the refrigerant pipe. The cold storage medium can flow into the open depression. Therefore, the cold storage medium may directly contact the refrigerant pipe, and is directly cooled with the refrigerant.

An evaporator includes multiple refrigerant tubes, multiple air passages provided between the refrigerant tubes, a cold storage container disposed in the multiple air passages, and a temperature detector. The evaporator further includes a freezing allowable region and a freezing unallowable region that is provided above the freezing allowable region. The cold storage container has a small thickness region and a large thickness region that is positioned above the small thickness region. The large thickness region demarcates a smaller space with the refrigerant tubes than the space demarcated between the small thickness region and the refrigerant tubes. The small thickness region of the cold storage container is positioned within the freezing allowable region, the large thickness region is positioned in the freezing unallowable region, and the temperature detector is disposed in the freezing allowable region.

A cold storage heat exchanger has refrigerant pipes and a cold storage material. Each of the refrigerant pipes has a refrigerant passage therein. The refrigerant pipes are arranged so as to be distanced from each other with clearances therebetween. The cold storage material is disposed in at least one of the clearances. At least another one of the clearances provides an air passage. The heat storage material is disposed in at least two of the clearances arranged adjacent to each other.

Multiple cooling-storage containers are arranged in respective spaces formed between neighboring refrigerant tubes. The cooling-storage container is made of a pair of outer envelope portions, each forming a side wall. Multiple convex portions and concave portions are formed in the side walls so that air passages are formed between refrigerant tubes and the concave portions. A sectional area of the air passage formed in a lower portion of the cooling-storage container below a predetermined height is made larger than that of the air passage formed in an upper portion of the cooling-storage container above the predetermined height.

Cooling-storage type heat exchanger

On the surface of a heat exchanging portion in a heat exchanger, a film made of a polyaniline is formed. When the heat exchanger operates, condensed water is adhered on the surface of the heat exchanger, and contacts the film made of the polyaniline. Accordingly, oxygen dissolved in the condensed water becomes active oxygen by the polyaniline, and organic substances contained in the condensed water is decomposed. Thus, an amount of organic substances attached to a surface of the heat exchanger can be reduced in low cost without equipment extension.

Method for preventing contamination of heat exchanger and heat exchanger using this method

A refrigerant circuit in an air conditioner comprises a compressor that compresses a refrigerant, a condenser that liquefies the refrigerant, a pressure reducing device that reduces the pressure of the compressed refrigerant, and an evaporator that exchanges heat by utilizing the refrigerant and generates an air-conditioning air. The condenser comprises plural fin tubes, through which the refrigerant passes, two headers, to which both ends of the fin tubes are connected and which has a firm structure, upper and lower mounting brackets that are fixed to the headers, and vibration insulating materials that collaborate with pin members and support the condenser via the upper and lower mounting brackets. The valve unit is fixed to the header or to the upper or lower mounting bracket.

Air conditioner with reduced number of piping accessories

An evaporator has plural tubes arranged in parallel with each other in a width direction perpendicular to an air flowing direction. The tubes are further arranged in two rows in the air flowing direction, and tank portions extending in the width direction are also arranged in the two rows in the air flowing direction to correspond to the tubes. A refrigerant inlet and a refrigerant outlet are provided in the tank portions, respectively, at one side end in the width direction, so that refrigerant flows through all one-row tubes after passing through the other-row tubes. In the evaporator, throttle holes are provided in a distribution portion of the tank portions, for distributing refrigerant, so that a refrigerant distribution within the tubes can be arbitrarily set. Thus, air temperature blown out from the evaporator can be made uniform.

Refrigerant evaporator with refrigerant distribution

A tube for a heat exchanger has notch portions at a longitudinal direction end portion to be inserted into a header tank. Further, several passage holes are provided in the tube to extend in a longitudinal direction of the tube in which refrigerant flows. The notch portions are formed by cutting parts of the tube to be defined by cut surfaces. The passage holes are not provided at portions corresponding to the cut surfaces. Therefore, the passage holes are securely prevented from being crushed and cut when the notch portions are formed by cutting. As a result, joining failure between the tube and the header tank can be prevented.

Heat exchanger having multi-hole structured tube

In a refrigerant evaporator, plural tubes made of aluminum are arranged in a laminating direction perpendicular to an air flowing direction, and plural corrugated fins made of aluminum are disposed between adjacent tubes. In the evaporator, when a tube plate thickness TT of the tubes is set in a range of 0.10 mm-0.35 mm and a tube height TH of each tube in the laminating direction is set in a range of 1.5 mm-3.0 mm, pressure loss of refrigerant in a refrigerant passage becomes smaller, and a heat-conductive area of air becomes larger. Further, when a fin height FH of the corrugated fins is set in a range of 4.0-7.5 mm, fin effect of the corrugated fins is improved. As a result, heat-conductive performance of the evaporator is improved.

Refrigerant evaporator

According to the present invention, an outlet tank and an inlet tank are formed in one end side of a plurality of connecting bodies and the bent portions are formed in other end side of the connecting bodies. The plurality of the connecting bodies is formed by a pair of pressed plates and is laminated to form a predetermined space in which the fin is installed, thus creating a laminated type heat exchanger. The bent portions are formed in a bottom end portion of the connecting body, and in the remaining bottom end portion of the surface, there is formed an extending portion which extends to a side lower than the bottom end portion of the fin. Therefore, even when the condensed water becomes a water drop between the surface of the connecting body and the surface of the fin, the drop does not stay for a long time and is efficiently drained by the extending portion downwardly.
