To provide a power supply system equipped with a storage battery assembly including a plurality of storage battery control units, the power supply system being configured such that a group of the storage battery control units, which are selected from the storage battery control units, and which have output voltages within a predetermined voltage range, are first connected to the parallel connection line, and such that the voltage range is set so as to maximize the number of the storage battery control units having output voltages within the voltage range.

In a control device configured to control power to be supplied to a specific load from at least one of a converter that has a power generator and a storage battery, and a commercial power supply, the control device determines whether the commercial power supply is in a power failure state or a power distribution state, in which: when determining that the commercial power supply is in a power distribution state, the control device causes both of the converter and the commercial power supply to be connected to the specific load; and when determining that the commercial power supply has made a transition from a power distribution state to a power failure state, the control device causes the commercial power supply to be disconnected from the specific load while maintaining the connection between the converter and the specific load.

There is provided a power supply system in which a user can easily determine an optimum method of consuming power obtained by discharging a power storage portion. [Solution] A charging system is provided with: a storage unit that is charged by consuming grid power supplied by a power company, and that supplies the stored power through discharge; and a charging unit that charges batteries by consuming power supplied by grid power and the storage unit. Power companies set a power rate that is higher the greater the maximum value of the amount of power supplied for each unit of time is. Furthermore, at least a single charge carried out by the charging unit is carried out over two units of time, and the storage unit supplies power to the charging unit in at least one unit of time other than said two units of time.

[Solution] A power supplying system supplies power to loads provided within a facility, and is provided with: a power storage unit that stores power by being charged, and supplies power by being discharged; and a capacity measurement unit that measures the remaining capacity of the power storage unit by executing a complete charging and a complete discharging of the power storage unit, in sequence. The capacity measurement unit obtains the operation schedule of the facility, and determines the timing at which the complete charging and the complete discharging of the power storage unit are to be conducted, on the basis of the operation schedule.

Power supplying system for supplying power to a load disposed in a facility

A power supply system is provided that can reduce the maximum value of the amount of power per unit time supplied to a load and a power storage portion and that can increase the amount of power stored in the power storage portion. The power supply system () includes the power storage portion () and a charge-discharge control portion () that controls the charge and discharge of the power storage portion (). The power supply system () supplies power to an EV charge portion () that is one of power storage portions (). The charge-discharge control portion () charges the power storage portion () when a power or a current consumed by the EV charge portion () is equal to or less than a predetermined magnitude.

An assembled battery control system is provided with an assembled battery composed of a plurality of rechargeable battery packs connected in series, and a control unit for controlling the assembled battery. Each battery pack has a discharge unit. The control unit confirms the open-circuit voltage of each battery pack in the assembled battery after the assembled battery has been fully charged, determines a target voltage on the basis of the open-circuit voltage confirmation results for each battery pack in the assembled battery, causes the discharge unit to discharge each battery pack in the assembled battery that has an open-circuit voltage greater than the target voltage until the open-circuit voltage of each of said battery packs reaches the target voltage, fully charges the assembled battery again, discharges the assembled battery until a first predetermined level has been reached, and learns the capacity of each battery pack in the assembled battery.

A master controller of a battery charge and discharge control apparatus is a device performing charge and discharge control on a group of a predetermined number of battery arrays, the battery arrays being connected together in parallel. The master controller acquires an entire charge or discharge instruction intended for the entire battery array group, starts charging or discharging each of the battery arrays at a uniform charge or discharge power value, acquires a charge or discharge status of each of the battery arrays after the beginning of the charge or discharge and compares the charge or discharge status with a predetermined charge or discharge set value for the entire battery array group, and changes the charge or discharge power value of each of the battery arrays based on a result of the comparison.

Battery charge and discharge control apparatus and method for controlling battery charge and discharge

Provided is a power management system capable of controlling charge and discharge of storage batteries according to power requirement of load even when handling electric power of large scale. A system controller receives load-related information data including the power requirement of load and storage battery-related information data including a state of a storage battery assembly including multiple storage batteries and creates an overall charge-discharge control instruction for the entire power management system based on the load-related information data and the storage battery-related information data. A hierarchical charge-discharge control apparatus receives the overall charge-discharge control instruction from the system controller and performs charge-discharge control of the multiple storage batteries, classified into hierarchical levels, on a hierarchical level basis.

Power management system

In a receiving apparatus, two respective reference-point computing units in respective diversity branches calculate reference points on a constellation, and two respective reference-point specifying units in the two diversity branches select respectively the reference points closest to the received data. A diversity circuit receive from the two diversity branches the information specifying the received data and the reference points, and a comparison processing unit compares these reference points. If these reference points are matched, a selection combining unit outputs the reference point while, if not matched, any one of received data selected at random is outputted.
