An all-solid-state secondary battery, wherein: an anode current collector that contains copper or copper alloy; a cathode current collector comprising aluminum, aluminum alloy or stainless steel, provided opposite to the anode current collector; an anode active material layer formed there between from the anode current collector side on the surface of the anode current collector; a solid electrolyte layer comprising a sulfide solid electrolyte that contains a monovalent or divalent metal and sulfur; and a cathode active material layer formed on the surface of the cathode current collector are layered successively, is used. A sulfidation resistant layer is formed on the surface of the anode current collector on which the anode active material layer is formed. Or, the surface of the anode current collector on which the anode active material layer is formed has a compressive strength of 1250 to 3000 MPa.

All-solid-state secondary battery

A diaphragm for a planar speaker and a planar speaker having a long-term stability and a high reliability and exhibiting a flat sound pressure frequency property. The diaphragm for a planar speaker includes a voice coil formed by winding a wire conductor, two adhesive layers sandwiching the voice coil therebetween, and bases bonded to the two adhesive layers on the side opposite to the voice coil. The planar speaker employs the diaphragm.

External modulator for optical communication

There is provided a method for modulating the polarization of light that allows detection of any modulated output regardless if the optical analyzers are rigidly held in place. According to a first aspect of the invention, a method for receiving light with a modulated polarization comprises steps of dividing the light being propagated through an optical fiber 1 with a polarization modulated in accordance with a modulation signal into three branched beams, causing one of the branched beams of light with a modulated polarization to pass through a .pi./2 phase corrector 2 and a first optical analyzer 3a and causing the remaining branched beams of light to respectively pass through second and third optical analyzers 3b and 3c without passing through any .pi./2 phase correctors before in order to receive light with a modualted intensity from the optical analyzers 3a, 3b and 3c. According to a second aspect of the invention, an apparatus for receiving light with a modulated plane is provided, said second optical analyzer 3b and said third optical analyzer 3c forming an angle of 49.degree. therebetween.

Method and apparatus for receiving light with a modulated polarization

There is provided an optical external modulator that can modulate the polarization of incident light without regulating the state of polarization of the light entering the modulator. Such a modulator can be suitably incorporated into an optical telecommunications system. An optical external modulator according to the invention comprises a substrate 1, an optical transmission line 7, a polarization modulating section 11 and a phase changing section 8 for changing the state of polarization of the light passing through the optical transmission line by applying stress to the optical transmission line 7 as a function of a modulation signal given to the modulator such that the phase difference between the X-component and the Y-component of the light being propagated through the optical transmission line 7 is shifted by (2m-1)*.pi./2 (m is a positive integer).

Optical external modulator for optical telecommunications

An electronic connector which has a plurality of contacts associated in one or more rows in a connector housing, a shape memory spring associated in the connector housing for driving the contacts, the shape memory spring transmitting a recovery force generated when the shape memory spring reaches its transformation temperature or higher to the contacts while recovering the shape stored when the shape memory spring reaches its transformation temperature or higher and returning to the shape before the shape memory recovery by the spring force of the contact when the shape memory spring reaches below its transformation temperature. Thus, the electronic connector can mount or dismount contacts at each other without inserting or removing force or substantially without inserting or removing force in a simple structure with less number of parts.

An electronic connector which has a plurality of contacts associated in one or more rows in a connector housing, a shape memory spring associated in the connector housing for driving the contacts, the shape memory spring having a beginning shape and transmitting a recovery force to the contacts generated when the shape memory spring reaches a transformation temperature or higher while recovering a stored shape when the shape memory spring reaches the transformation temperature or higher and returning to the beginning shape by the spring force of the contact when the shape memory spring reaches below its transformation temperature. Thus, the electronic connector can mount or dismount contacts to each other without an inserting or removing force or substantially without an inserting or removing force in a simple structure with a reduced number of parts.
