A catheter assembly includes: a catheter; a catheter hub connected to the catheter; an inner needle removably disposed in the catheter; a needle hub connected to the inner needle; and a deflection suppressing member that suppresses deflection of the inner needle by supporting the inner needle via the catheter at a location distal of the catheter hub. The deflection suppressing member is supported so as to be movable relative to the needle hub in an axial direction.

Catheter assembly

A catheter retaining tool comprises a piercing tool, a guide wire and an operation device. The piercing tool includes a Y-hub, an outer needle, an indwelling needle and a syringe. The Y-hub includes a main port, an obliquely connected side port, and a hemostatic valve for keeping the side port liquid-tight. The guide wire is inserted by the operation device from the side port through the hemostatic valve into the outer needle. The operation device includes a turning portion made rotatable relative to the side port and having a hollow portion, an extending portion connected to the turning portion, and a slide portion for pushing out the guide wire along the extending portion. The turning portion includes a first rolling spindle and a second tilting spindle.

Catheter retaining tool

The present invention provides an intravascular catheter comprising a catheter part; an internal needle disposed through the catheter part; and a flexible resin member disposed on the outer surface of the catheter part. It is preferable that the intravascular catheter comprises a blood leakage prevention member for preventing leakage of blood by closing the catheter part via the flexible resin member. It is also preferable that the blood leakage prevention member comprises a pressure part capable of pressuring the catheter part via the flexible resin member. It is further preferable that the blood leakage prevention member comprises a fixing mechanism capable of fixing the pressure part in the pressuring state, and a releasing mechanism capable of releasing the pressuring state.

Intravascular catheter

A method for coding a video signal made up of a plurality of sequential video frames. First, correspondence information relating color frame information values to types of video coding is provided, the color frame information values and types of coding being related on a one to one basis such that for each value of color frame information there is only one corresponding type of coding. Next, a value of color frame information is determined for each video frame and the type of coding to be used on the frame is selected by associating the frame's color frame information with a coding type via the correspondence information. Finally, the image frames are coded according to the coding types selected by referencing the correspondence information.

Coding method and recording and reproducing apparatus

In a coding method and a recording and reproducing apparatus, a moving image and a compressed moving image can be coded and decoded by means of the GOP sequence without using the GOP sequence information. The image frames are arranged in the same frame order in each of the plurality of GOP's. And at the same time, each of the GOP's are set so that the GOP is processed in the same GOP sequence. Then, correspondence information is set that allows the color frame sequence information to correspond to the GOP sequence on a one to one basis. The GOP sequence that corresponds to the color frame sequence information extracted from the moving image and the compressed animated image data is selected by using the set information to perform the coding process and the decoding process by means of the selected GOP sequence.

A video editing apparatus which can perform editing in units of frames with respect to video data encoded by GOPs using inter-frame correlation, in which video data recorded on an MO disc drive is decoded by an MPEG decoding unit and a predetermined frame of the decoded video data is substituted with other video data selected by a switch. The new video data including also the pictures of the frames before and after this is subjected to re-encoding at the MPEG encoding unit in a state where the original GOP frame structure before editing is maintained based on the signal indicating the punctuation of GOP input from the MPEG decoding unit and is recorded on the MO disk drive.

Video editing apparatus

A control circuit for controlling an output phase of a video signal is comprised of a variable type phase shifting circuit for phase-shifting the video signal by a designated phase shifting amount and a fixed type phase shifting circuit for phase-shifting the video signal by a constant phase shifting amount. A signal switch selects video signals from the designated and fixed type phase shifting circuits. The video signal from the fixed type phase shifting circuit is selected only during a predetermined period including at least ancillary data while the video signal from the variable type phase shifting circuit is utilized during other period. Thus, the ancillary data is constantly extracted from the video signal which is phase-shifted by the constant phase-shifting amount so that the inserting position of the ancillary data is not changed, regardless of the output phase amount. Thereby the ancillary data is extracted reliably. In other words, even when the output phase amount is varied, the position of the ancillary data inserted into the video signal can be prevented from being changed.

Video signal processing apparatus

A tape reproducing direction detecting apparatus for a digital VTR in which a reproducing direction of a tape on which each field of a digital video signal is recorded over a plurality of predetermined slant tracks together with a field identifier and a segment identifier is comprised of a track number generating circuit for generating track numbers corresponding to a plurality of the slant tracks on the basis of the field identifier and the segment identifier, and a track number detecting circuit for detecting the increase and decrease of the track numbers.

Tape reproducing direction detecting apparatus for a digital VTR

In an apparatus for use with a video tape having a longitudinal track in which an address signal is recorded and successive slant tracks in which a video signal and an information signal are recorded at predetermined intervals; a magnetic head unit reproduces the video signal, the information signal, and the address signal. The information signal is applied to a pulse generator for generating a control pulse signal, and an address indication circuit provides an address indication in response to the address signal or the control pulse signal. A control circuit is provided for coupling one or the other of the address signal and the control pulse signal to the address indication circuit selectively in response to the speed of movement of the tape.

Video signal reproducing apparatus with two modes of keeping track of

In recording a time code signal together with digital video and audio signals, at least one channel of a digital audio signal is supplied to rotary heads scanning successive slant tracks on a tape for recording in intermediate sections of the slant tracks, a digital video signal is supplied to the same heads for recording in other sections of the slant tracks situated before and after the intermediate sections and being relatively longer than the latter, and the time code signal is also supplied to the rotary heads for recording in the intermediate sections with the same time codes being represented by the time code signal recorded in the intermediate sections of a successive plurality of the slant tracks which contain the digital video signal for a respective frame.
