A movable shade mechanism for a vehicular headlight and a vehicular headlight capable of reducing the entire weight while enhancing rigidity of a bracket is provided. A movable shade mechanism for a vehicular headlight includes a shade member rotating around a rotary shaft and adjusting a shielding amount of light from a light source, a drive unit to generate power to drive the shade member, a transmission member to transmit power of the drive unit to the shade member, and a plate bracket to hold the rotary shaft and the drive unit, wherein the bracket includes a base that is disposed along a horizontal plane in a vehicle-mounted state and supports the drive unit, and a shade support that is bent upwardly from a rear end of the base in the vehicle-mounted state and supports the rotary shaft.

A vehicle lamp includes a light source, a lens, and an optical member provided between the lens and the light source. The light source is provided on an attachment surface of a fixing member. The attachment surface includes a pair of fixing portions provided at positions paired with the light source being interposed therebetween and a contact portion provided to protrude from the attachment surface at a position apart from the light source in a direction perpendicular to a straight line connecting two fixing portions. A protruding amount of the contact portion from the attachment surface in an optical axis direction of the light source is greater than that of the fixing portion. A pair of fixing spots provided at one edge portion of the optical member is fixed to the fixing portions, and a contact spot provided at the other edge portion contacts the contact portion.

Vehicle lamp

The vehicle lamp according to the present invention includes: a light source; a movable shade rotating in a front-back direction and switchable to a second position where some of light from the light source is blocked; a power section having a moving shaft moving in a horizontal direction; and a power-transmitting section transmitting a moving force of the moving shaft, as a rotary force of the movable shade. The moving shaft has an engagement groove with which the power-transmitting section is engaged. The power-transmitting section includes a second arm having an engagement section slidably engaged with the engagement groove. The engagement section includes a first engagement section engaged with the engagement groove and extending in the front-back direction, and a second engagement section that has a substantially linear shape, is engaged with the engagement groove and is connected to and bent with respect to the first engagement section.

A vehicle lamp comprises: a substrate; a semiconductor light source which is mounted on the substrate; a lens which emits light from the semiconductor light source; and a heat sink having a planar first surface which is formed in the shape of a plate from a metal material, is in contact with and affixed to the substrate, and supports the lens, and a planar second surface which is the back surface of the first surface, the heat sink being plastically deformed by a plurality of recesses disposed in a prescribed pattern in a surface machining area on the second surface that includes an area on the back side of the contact area.

In order to provide a vehicle lamp in which the number of components for enabling a shade to move is small, this vehicle lamp is equipped with a light source, a heat sink, a reflector that reflects light from the light source forward, a lens that radiates light forward, and a light distribution pattern switching part that is disposed between the lens and the light source. The light distribution pattern switching part is equipped with a bracket, a crank that is supported by a bracket support section, a shade that moves rotationally so as to switch the light distribution pattern, and a support shaft that rotatably supports the shade and is secured to the bracket. The crank is equipped with a rotating shaft section that is supported by the bracket support section so as to be able to rotate horizontally across the bracket, and a rotational movement section which is disposed on one end of the rotating shaft section and which causes the shade to move rotationally by rotating in the vertical direction around the rotating shaft. The support shaft is disposed so as to cut horizontally across the rotating shaft section of the crank so that the rotating shaft section of the crank does not separate from the bracket support section.

The present invention comprises a semiconductor-type light source, a lens, a lens holder, and a heat sink member. Positioning sections are provided in the lens and the lens holder, respectively. The positioning section in the lens holder comprises a pressing section and a positioning surface. The positioning section in the lens comprises a protrusion-receiving section and a positioning protrusion section. As a result, the present invention is capable of accurately positioning the lens, relative to the lens holder, in the standard optical axis direction of the lens.

Lamp for vehicles

In vehicle headlamps of the prior art, a low-beam light distribution pattern and a high-beam distribution pattern could not be obtained in a direct illumination lens-type lamp unit. The present invention is provided with a semiconductor light source, a lens, a light control member, and a drive member. The lens is composed of a main lens section and an auxiliary lens section. The drive member positions the light control member in a first position and a second position in a moveable and switchable manner. Consequently, the present invention enables a low-beam light distribution pattern and a high-beam light distribution pattern to be obtained in a direct illumination lens-type lamp unit.

Vehicle headlamp

In a conventional lamp for vehicles, there may be a case in which any shuddering is generated. The present invention comprises a semiconductor-type light source, a lens, a lens holder, and a heat sink member. An attachment hook section is provided in the lens holder. Attachment sections are provided in the heat sink member. The attachment sections of the heat sink member are interposed between the lens holder and the attachment hook section. The present invention is capable of attaching the lens holder to the heat sink member without any shuddering being generated.

The present invention provides a semiconductor-type light source, a lens, a heat sink member, a light control member, a driving member, and a cover member. The cover memberis fixed to a fixing surface of the heat sink membersuch a manner as to be integrated with the semiconductor-type light source. The light control memberis mounted to the cover memberin such a manner as to be changeably movable between a first location and a second location. As a result, the present invention is capable of reducing dispersion in relative position between the semiconductor-type light sourceand the light control member, and reducing dispersion between a light distribution pattern for low beam LP and a light distribution pattern for high beam HP.

The present invention provides a semiconductor-type light source, a reflector, and a lens. The semiconductor-type light sourcehas a light emission surface. The reflectorhas a first reflection surfaceand a second reflection surface. The lenshas a plurality of convex surfaces (emission surfacesand), a first lens portion, and a second lens portion. As a result, according to the present invention, an appropriate light distribution pattern for low beam LP can be obtained in a lamp unit.

The present invention provides a semiconductor-type light source, a lens, a light control member, and a driving member. The lensis made of a main lens portionand an auxiliary lens portion. The light control memberis made of a light shading portionand a light transmission portion. The driving memberis configured to position the light control memberin such a manner as to be changeably movable between a first location and a second location. As a result, the present invention is capable of obtaining an optimal light distribution pattern for low beam LP and an optimal light distribution pattern for high beam HP.

The present invention provides a semiconductor-type light source, a lens, a light control member, and a driving member. The lensis made of a main lens portionand an auxiliary lens portion. The light control memberis made of a light shading portionand a light transmission portion. The driving memberis configured to position the light control memberin such a manner as to be changeably movable between a first location and a second location. As a result, the present invention is capable of obtaining a light distribution pattern for low beam LP and a light distribution pattern for high beam HP in a lamp unit of a lens direct emission and light distribution type.

The present invention provides: semiconductor-type light sources; a fixed reflector having reflection surfaces; movable reflectors having reflection surfaces; a solenoid; and a driving force transmission mechanism. The driving force transmission mechanism is made of: a rack that is elastically deformable; and pinions. A height Hof a respective one of gear portions at each end part of the rack is greater in comparison with a height Hof a respective one of gear portions at an intermediate part of the rack. As a result, the present invention is capable of maintaining a load between the rack and a respective one of the pinions at its required minimum level, and is capable of maintaining positional precision in stop location of the movable reflectors at high precision.

A vehicle headlamp includes: a lamp unit including an upper support shaft and a lower support shaft that are coaxially formed each other; a bracket adapted to support the lamp unit via a ball bearing in the upper support shaft and via a slider in a lower shaft support portion; an actuator including a mechanism portion adapted to drive the lower support shaft of the lamp unit, the actuator being movable in a forward and backward direction with respect to the bracket; and a spring portion that is fixed to the bracket, and is adapted to compress a tip end of the upper support shaft.

The present invention is provided with a first lamp unitand a second lamp unit. The first lamp unitis provided with a semiconductor-type light source, a reflector, a shade, and a driving mechanism. The reflectorhas a first reflection surfaceand a second reflection surface. The first reflection surfaceis adapted to emit lateral light distribution patterns CPL and CPR. The second reflection surfaceis adapted to emit a light distribution pattern HP for high beam. As a result, according to the present invention, it becomes possible to obtain an arbitrary auxiliary light distribution pattern, such as a light distortion pattern for spot or a light distribution pattern for scattering other than the lateral light distribution patterns CPL and CPR.
