Hydraulic steering apparatus

A control apparatus for a power transmission of vehicles such as construction machine having at least one work implement actuated by a hydraulic cylinder unit, a transmission gear with hydraulically operated speed-change clutch, and a torque converter interposed between an engine and the transmission gear so as to transmit rotational power of the engine and having a hydraulically operated stator clutch. The control apparatus has two solenoid actuated clutch pressure control valves respectively provided in two hydraulic circuits which connect a hydraulic fluid supply source with the speed-change clutch and the stator clutch, respectively, so as to change the hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic circuits by the operation of a controller to which respective solenoids of the clutch pressure control valves are connected on its output part and an engine rotation sensor, a pressure sensor for detecting the pressure in the hydraulic cylinder unit of the work implement and a speed-change lever position sensor for detecting the shift of the lever to its first speed position are connected on its input part.

A vehicle which has a driver's compartment being turnable at an angle of 180.degree. between its forwardly facing position and it rearwardly facing position and a transmission having a plurality of solenoid operated directional control valves for speed change of the vehicle. The transmission is controlled by a transmission control device enabling it to be operated under the same operation manner even when the vehicle travels either in the forward direction or in the rearward direction.

A hydraulic boosting apparatus in a braking system, which apparatus has an accumulator which provides an oil pressure accumulated in a high pressure circuit, the oil pressure being supplementarily used in addition to an oil pressure from the usual hydraulic circuit for a braking operation. A booster cylinder has a booster piston, a free spool and an operating spool which are arranged coaxially with each other. There is provided a pressure chamber between the booster piston and the free spool, which chamber communicates with a first working chamber defined in and serving to close an on-off valve which is, in turn, in communication with the accumulator. There is also provided a closed chamber between the free spool and the operating spool, which chamber communicates with a second working chamber defined in and serving to open the on-off valve.

A push-pull coupling for tandem earthmoving scrapers is disclosed wherein the coupling may be rapidly connected or disconnected, thereby permitting the scrapers to operate either in unison or separately. A push block having a pulling hook projecting therefrom is mounted on the rear of a forward scraper, while a push block and a bail for engaging the hook are mounted on the front of a rearward scraper. Furthermore, at least two sets of two-way shock absorber assemblies which can absorb the shock loads caused in the course of the pushing or pulling operations are respectively connected between the push block of the rearward scraper and a reinforcing member fixedly secured to the front thereof.
