An oil temperature sensor includes a sensor body that detects the temperature of oil. The sensor body is formed by covering a thermistor mounted on a first lead frame and a second lead frame with a resin mold portion. The sensor body is fixed to the housing in a manner that the resin mold portion is buried and a first terminal portion and a second terminal portion are partially exposed to space.

Oil temperature sensor

An oil temperature sensor includes a housing assembly in which a lead frame on which a thermistor for detecting a temperature of oil is mounted is integrated with a housing such that a tip-side terminal portion is exposed outward. The housing includes a groove formed linearly into which a cable-attached terminal is inserted. The groove is opened on both sides of the groove in the extending direction and is also opened in one direction crossing the extending direction. A joint terminal portion and a sheath of a cable are partially inserted into the groove.

A method of manufacturing a sensor body used in an oil temperature sensor includes mounting a thermistor on a scheduled first resin mold portion and a scheduled second resin mold portion. The manufacturing method includes molding the scheduled first resin mold portion, the scheduled second resin mold portion, and the thermistor to form a resin mold portion. The manufacturing method includes cutting connecting portions, after the resin mold portion is formed, and separating a scheduled first-terminal-portion forming portion and a scheduled second-terminal-portion forming portion.

Sensor body and method of manufacturing sensor body

A battery terminal unit with a current sensor includes a bus bar for a battery terminal and a receiving portion. The bus bar includes an attachment part attached to a battery post, an extension part extended from the attachment part, and a connection part which continues to the extension part and is configured to connect a wire harness. The receiving portion receives a board on which a magnetic detection element is mounted so that the board is opposed to a surface of the extension part. The attachment part, the extension part and the connection part are integrally formed. The connection part continues to the extension part through an extending portion bent from the extension part so as to be positioned laterally to the extension part.

Battery terminal unit with current sensor

A current detecting device includes a busbar, a magneto-electric converting element that outputs a signal in response to a magnetic field generated from the busbar, a housing that accommodates the busbar and the magneto-electric converting element, and a shield plate that is attached to the housing. The shield plate is formed in the U-shape in cross section in which an opening is formed between leading ends of a pair of side plates. The leading ends of the pair of side plates of the shield plate are located more inside than an opening peripheral edge of an opening portion of the outer frame portion so that a predetermined distance is secured between the leading ends of the pair of side plates of the shield plate and the opening peripheral edge of the opening portion of the outer frame portion.

Current detecting device and attaching structure thereof

An assembling structure is provided which is capable of greatly reducing the material cost, is easy-to-assemble, and can be made smaller. The sensor body is provided on a lower face with a protrusion, which comes into contact with an upper face of the busbar when the sensor body is mounted on the busbar. The busbar is provided with a through-hole passing through the busbar in a vertical direction. A leading end of the protrusion, which passes through the through-hole when the sensor body is mounted on the busbar, is heat-fused and adheres to the circumference of the through-hole.

A terminal connecting-fixing construction for fixedly fastening at least two plate-like terminals to a mating connection portion having connection bolts corresponding respectively to the terminals, each of the terminals including a wire connection portion formed integrally with and extending from an electrical contact portion having a screw insertion hole, the terminal connecting-fixing construction comprises: a terminal retaining piece portion for positioning the terminal, formed on that edge of the electrical contact portion directed away from the wire connection portion; and a positioning member which includes positioning terminals for fitting respectively on the terminal retaining piece portions, and a mounting board fixedly holding the positioning terminals such that the positioning terminals correspond respectively to the connection bolts, wherein the terminals are fixedly fastened, together with the positioning member, to the mating connection portion.
