An air compressor improves the dustproof performance of an intake path to a crankcase. The air compressor includes a compression assembly that reciprocates a piston in a cylinder to produce compressed air, a crankcase accommodating the compression assembly and having an inner inlet to allow outside air to be drawn, a filter located in the crankcase and covering the inner inlet from outside, a filter cover having an outer inlet and covering the filter from outside, and a dust cover covering the filter cover from outside, covering the outer inlet, and including an outer circumferential portion. The outer circumference portion and the filter cover have a space to draw outside air between the outer circumference portion and the filter cover.

Air compressor

A driving tool comprises a cylinder extending in an up-down direction and a piston that moves downward within the cylinder due to a compressed gas to drive a driving member. The driving tool further comprises a main body housing that houses the cylinder and a grip extending rearward from a rear surface of the main body housing. The driving tool further comprises an upper chamber that is provided above the cylinder and communicates with the cylinder. The driving tool further comprises an air chamber that extends downward from the upper chamber and that extends only in an area on a right or left side of the main body housing with respect to both an axis center of the cylinder and an axis center of the grip.

Battery-powered power tools

It is an object of the present invention to provide an improved technique for preventing leakage of lubricant from an accommodating space that houses a driving mechanism, while regulating the internal pressure of the accommodating space in a power tool. A representative power tool includes a power tool body, a tool bit, a driving mechanism, a lubricant, an accommodating space, a passage and a lubricant leakage preventing region. The accommodating space is disposed in the body to house the driving mechanism and is hermetically sealed. The passage has an accommodating space side opening and an outside opening. The passage extends, starting from the accommodating space side opening, in a direction away from the outside opening. Then, the passage turns around and extends toward the outside opening. Further, the lubricant leakage preventing region is provided with the passage to prevent the lubricant from leaking from the inside to the outside of the accommodating space. According to the invention, the length of the passage can be made longer and the lubricant must travel a longer distance before leaking out. Therefore, a higher effect of preventing leakage can be obtained.

A power-driven hammer drill,includes a rotary lever,for transmitting and disabling the transmission of the rotation of a motor,to a tool bit,and a slide lever,for transmitting and disabling the transmission of hammer blows to the tool bit,. The rotary lever,is formed with a chamfer,, whereas the slide lever,is formed with a straight portion,and a cut-out,which conforms to the circular edge of the rotary lever,. When the slide lever,is in the lowermost position with the rotary lever,fitted in the cut-out,, the rotary lever,is in the position to disconnect the rotation of the motor,to the tool bit,, and while in this position, the slide lever,cannot be slid to its uppermost position, in which hammer blows cannot be transmitted to the tool bit,. When the slide lever,is located in the uppermost position and the chamfer,of the rotary lever,is in the rearmost position, in which hammer blows cannot be transmitted to the tool bit,but rotation can be transmitted to the tool bit,, the straight portion,opposes the chamfer,across a narrow gap so that the rotary lever,cannot be rotated to the rotation disabling position.
