A semiconductor device includes: a plurality of first field effect transistors (FETs) having a gate formed on a main surface of a semiconductor substrate, and a drain and a source formed in regions on both sides of the gate; a plurality of second FETs having a gate formed on the main surface of the semiconductor substrate, and a drain and a source formed in regions on both sides of the gate; and an electrically conductive layer that penetrates the main surface and a back surface of the semiconductor substrate in a region between the pair of FETs; wherein the first and second FETs that form the pair of FETs are disposed close to each other so that their drains are opposite to each other; wherein region widths of the first and second FETs in a direction of shorter sides of sources thereof are substantially identical with region widths of the first and second FETs in a direction of shorter sides of drains thereof; wherein all the drains of the first and second FETs are electrically connected to each other; wherein all the gates of the first and second FETs are electrically connected to each other; and wherein all the sources of the first and second FETs are electrically connected to each other on the back surface of the semiconductor substrate through the conductive layer.

An architecture providing a human interface includes a user input device, a studio or workplace receiving an output of the user input device, the studio being capable of storing and sharing information, and a plurality of agents or functional modules connected to supply/receive data from the studio. The agents are connected in parallel and perform processing as distributed and cooperative processing of functions by the user. The agents are independent components having independent functions performing processing on data in the studio to receive and store items of information, respectively, from and to the studio as a shared information medium, the studio being accessible to the user and to the plurality of agents. Each of the plurality of agents can be independently started depending upon a status of the studio.

C.) ranging from 20 to 75; and (D) polyethylene in an amount not more than 10 weight %, the polyethylene having a MFR (at 190.degree. C.) ranging from 5 to 50 g/10 min. The injection-molded article has an average thickness ranging from 2 to 6 mm, a flexural elastic modulus ranging from 3000 to 6000 kg/cm.sup.2, and a coefficient of linear expansion not higher than 8.times.10.sup.-5 /.degree.C.

An image display apparatus includes an image display screen which is formed by a plurality of picture display elements arranged repeatedly with a predetermined pitch for displaying an image as a set of plural picture elements. In this case, one or more double refraction plates are disposed in front of the image display screen so that light rays from the picture display elements are double-refracted by each double refraction plate and that the density of the picture display elements is increased apparently. Thus, in a color cathode ray tube in which a phosphor face is formed by color phosphors arranged in a stripe pattern, it is possible to reduce the coarseness of the texture of the color phosphor stripe.

An image display apparatus utilizes differences between the recognition or discrimination system of the human eye and the eye-movement system of the human eye to present in image which has an enhanced quality of solidness and yet does not cause eye fatigue. The image display apparatus includes an image source, such as a color cathode ray tube; a main image display screen for displaying an image of the image source without substantially reducing its resolution; a first, inner frame surrounding the main image display screen; a moderated image display screen for displaying a peripheral part of the image of the image source with reduced resolution; and a second, outer frame surrounding the moderated image display screen. In one embodiment, the moderated image display screen is formed of a lamination of a multi-layer Fresnel lens and an opal scattering plate. In another embodiment the moderated image display screen consists of a lamination of a multi-layer Fresnel lens, an opal scattering plate, and a fly-eye lens.
