A stepping motor may include a rotor having a rotation shaft and a permanent magnet, a fixed body having a cylindrical stator provided with a plurality of pole teeth so as to face the permanent magnet, an urging member which urges the rotor toward one side in a motor axial line direction, a supported face of the rotor which faces the one side in the motor axial line direction, and a support face of the fixed body which slidably supports the supported face of the rotor on the one side with respect to the supported face. When a first sliding load which is a total sliding load applied to the rotor is 'Ta', a detent torque acted on the rotor is 'Td', and a dynamic torque acted on the rotor by the stator is &#x201c;Te&#x201d;, then &#x201c;Ta&#x201d;, &#x201c;Td&#x201d; and &#x201c;Te&#x201d; satisfy the following expression:&#x201c;Td&#x201d;&#x3c;&#x201c;Ta&#x201d;&#x3c;&#x201c;Te&#x201d;.

Stepping motor

A lens driving apparatus includes a lens holder and a driver for providing linear motion to the lens holder along an optical axis of the lens. The driver includes an electromagnetic mechanism, provided at the outer circumference of the lens holder in an enclosing manner, for generating a torque around the optical axis; and a switching mechanism for switching the generated torque to a linear driving force along the optical axis so as to linearly move the lens holders. The driver surrounds the lens holder along the outer circumference to allow a smaller sized lens driving apparatus than that where the lens holder is at a side of the lens driving apparatus. In addition, the switching mechanism prevents the lens holder from moving in the optical axial direction, when power is turned off or even when an external force is applied to the lens holder.

A range finder includes a package, a semiconductor chip, an optical casing, a lens holder, a first lens, and a second lens. The first and second lenses are attached to the lens holder. The lens holder is formed of a material having a thermal expansion coefficient equal or close to that of the semiconductor chip. The range finder is constructed such that a distance between the two lenses and a distance between two light detecting sections on the semiconductor chip do not change significantly relative to each other due to the thermal expansion or contraction.

Range finder

A semiconductor device module is provided that prevents adhesion defects from causing in bonding a semiconductor sensor chip to a sensor stage with an adhesive and improving the reliability thereof. The semiconductor device module includes a sensor stage and a semiconductor optical sensor chip mounted on the sensor stage. The sensor stage includes a U-groove formed in an upper central surface portion of a bottom wall thereof. The sensor chip is bonded to the sensor stage with a thermosetting and UV-curing adhesive coated in the U-groove. The U-groove, includes an island-shaped flat pedestal located at a central bottom portion of the U-groove for mounting the sensor chip thereon. Pins are preferably disposed on both sides of the pedestal to hold the sensor chip horizontally, and the side walls of the U-grooveare preferably slanted such that the adhesive coated in the U-groove is prevented from splashing to the outside.

Semiconductor device module

The present invention provides a motor having an urging member for urging a rotor disposed oppositely to a stator in the axial direction, in which the rotor is rotated in a state under an urging force of the urging member, characterized in that a positional regulation part (bearing) for regulating the position of the rotor in a thrust direction under the urging force is integrally provided in a coil bobbin made of resin which has metallic stator cores making up the stator formed by insert molding. Therefore, the positional accuracy of the positional regulation part (bearing) with respect to the stator is made better. Thereby, the positional accuracy of the rotor with respect to the stator is also improved, so that the torque up is enabled.

A semiconductor device in which accuracy in mounting and positioning a semiconductor chip onto a package is improved without being affected by operation of a mounting unit such as a die bonder. The semiconductor device includes a semiconductor chip disposed on a die pad section of the package using guide projections and spring projections provided around the die pad section. The semiconductor chip is die bonded while being aligned with reference to the guide projections.

In a small-sized motor used for lens drive, to provide the motor which is easy to attach to another member and gives space saving. Further, to provide a motor in which the number of parts is reduced thereby to improve assembly efficiency and make shaft accuracy good. Stator cores constituting a stator opposed to a rotor, an output portion side bearing that rotates and supports a side, near an output portion for operating an operated member, of a rotary shaft inserted and fixed into the rotor, and an opposite output portion side bearing holding portion (cap portion) for holding an opposite output portion side bearing that rotates and supports an opposite side to the output portion side of the rotary shaft are formed integrally by insert molding; and the output portion side bearing and the opposite output portion side bearing holding portion are made of resin.

Motor

A range finder includes an improved module structure, that facilitates injecting a transparent filler uniformly into the entire light guide spaces neither leaving any unfilled region nor impairing the characteristics thereof. A channel of flow (or U-groove) is formed across a partition wall, connecting light guide spaces arranged side by side. This feature allows smooth flow of transparent filler into the range finder module without an unfilled region and consequently no overflow of the transparent filler onto outer wall of the plastic module and onto terminal portion of the lead frame. Another feature of this invention is the presence of shield walls along the channel of flow protruding from the side walls of the channel of flow in an inter-digitated fashion, to prevent the stray light from one light guide space entering the other light guide space through the channel of flow.

Range finder structure allowing easier filling of the transparent filler

A coil component comprises a wire, a terminal pin around which an end of the wire is wound, a terminal section for fixing one end of the terminal pin and for allowing the terminal pin to project therefrom. A conductive connection member is connected to the terminal pin so that it can be electrically connected to the wire. The terminal pin has a diameter on an open side thereof which is formed larger than that on a root side form which the conductive connection member is drawn out. The pin is formed as a contact section with which the conductive connection member makes contact when it is pulled in a projection direction of the terminal pin.

A motor comprises a motor rotation shaft, a first thrust bearing which supports one end of the motor rotation shaft and a second thrust bearing which supports the other end of the motor rotation shaft to control positioning in a thrust direction of the motor rotation shaft. The first thrust bearing further comprises a bearing for supporting one end of the motor rotation shaft and is movable in a shaft direction of the motor rotation shaft, a guide member for guiding the movement of the bearing in the shaft direction and a plurality of pre-loaded elements for opposing the force generated by the bearing in the shaft direction. The pre-loaded elements are evenly spaced around the motor shaft.
