A vehicle-use key for storing and for acquisition of information on a vehicle. The vehicle-use key permits an individual to use the vehicle, to prevent the key from being taken away when the vehicle is stolen and for finding the stolen vehicle. A vehicle-use key is used for starting a vehicle, and is configured to include a radio communication part (RFID) which performs communication with an external communication device. By providing the radio communication part to the vehicle-use key which an owner of a vehicle carries with him/her, information (data) can be transmitted or received between the radio communication part and the reader/writer of a PC terminal installed in a dealer or the like by radio. Thus, vehicle history data, maintenance history data and the like on a vehicle associated with the vehicle-use key can be transmitted and received and stored when necessary.

Vehicle-use key, maintenance support/management system of vehicle, and stolen vehicle check system

A speedometer, a fuel gauge, an odometer, left and right turn indicators, and an ignition indicator are arranged in a meter panel of a meter unit. An IC tag into which an ID code in standardized data form is registered is installed on the back surface of the meter panel. The IC tag is resin molded and is installed on the back surface of the meter panel made of resin. The mold resin and the meter panel are both made of a resin material having transmissivity to electromagnetic waves. Information is wirelessly transferred to and from the IC tag, and may be managed using a data management system.

IC tag equipped vehicle and management system thereof

To provide a vehicle in which information regarding RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is easily read and written by attaching a tag at a position where electromagnetic waves can be received. A vehicle includes a tag mounted thereon. The tag includes a recording medium in which identification information for identifying the vehicle is registered. The tag is attached inside a resin member. In particularly, the tag is attached inside a vehicle seat composed of a resin member. Furthermore, a tag can be attached as described above in a saddle-type vehicle.

Vehicle

To provide an IC tag mounting structure in which the probability is reduced that the IC tag mounted on a vehicle is replaced for repair or maintenance. The IC tag is mounted to any one of main functional components and internal components of an engine of the vehicle, air-inlet system components, brake system components, rear wheel suspension system components, and a storage box that can be locked.

IC tag mounting structure

The viscosity of a puncture-preventing sealant () is set in a range of 25 to 35 dPa&#xb7;s, and a thixotropy index is set in a range of 6.5 to 11.0, the sealant () being filled in a sealant chamber () defined to extend along an outer periphery of an air chamber () in a tire (T). When the tire (T) is being rotated by traveling of a vehicle, the viscosity of the sealant () is reduced by a stirring action provided by a vibration or a centrifugal force of the sealant (), whereby the sealant () can be diffused uniformly in the sealant chamber (). When the vehicle has been stopped and the stirring action has been extinguished, the viscosity of the sealant () is increased, whereby the sealant () is maintained in a state in which it has been diffused uniformly in the sealant chamber () without flowing downwards in the sealant chamber () by gravitation. Therefore, even when the vehicle is travelling at a high speed, the generation of a vibration and a noise can be prevented. In this manner, the puncture-preventing sealant is provided, which has such a nature that the sealant is easy to flow due to a low viscosity during traveling of a vehicle, and the sealant is difficult to flow due to a high viscosity when the sealant is left to stand.

Sealant for prevention of blowout, tubeless tire, and tire tube

A product management system has a database, an owner identification device, a card issuance device, and a checking device. The database correlates and stores therein product and owner information in relation to the owner of the product. The owner identification device wirelessly reads out information from an IC tag, which is fixed to the product and has stored therein product information, and also reads out from the database product information and correlated owner information. The card issuance device issues a card having a storage medium for storing the information. The checking device checks and compares information read out from the card, information read out from the IC tag, and information read out from the database, to thus validating the owner of the product. The product management system prevents a product which has been sold from being illegally used by or dealt with a person other than a valid owner.

Product management system

A mounting structure for a tire pressure sensing system. The tire pressure sensing system includes a pressure sensor placed on a wheel to sense pressure of a tire which is mounted on the wheel. The wheel is a cast wheel for a vehicle including a rim portion where the tire is mounted, a hub portion provided at the center of the rim portion, and spoke portions connecting the rim portion and the hub portion. The pressure sensor is placed in a boundary portion between the rim portion and the spoke portions. Since the pressure sensor is placed in the boundary portion between the rim portion and the spoke portions, a portion protruding into the tire when replacing a tire can be reduced. Consequently, workability for tire replacement can be improved.

Mounting structure of tire pressure sensing system

In a compact vehicle in which a vehicular component engaged with an inflated and extended air bag is arranged in the inflated and extended range of the air bag that can constrain a rider on a seat provided to the rear of a body frame from a forward direction, even if there is the vehicular component engaged with the air bag in an inflated and extended state, space for the air bag to be fully inflated and extended is secured and in addition, the inflated and extended air bag is securely supported. A vehicular component can be turned between an inactuated position in which an air bag is folded and an actuated position in which the vehicular component is displaced from the inactuated position, being engaged with and supporting a part of the inflated and extended air bag and is supported by fixed supporting means.

Compact vehicle

A commodity management system can manage information on commodities and commodity owners from sale times to disposal times and can identify a new owner in a disposal/recycling procedure. In an IC tag embedded in a motorcycle, management information associating the motorcycle and its owner is stored. A management card for recording the same management information is issued to a purchaser of the motorcycle. When the motorcycle is disposed and recycled, the dealer transmits a request for authentication of the owner to a management server. The management server then allows a disposal/recording procedure only if the management information stored in the IC tag embedded in the motorcycle matches the management information recorded in the management card.

Commodity management system

To provide an article management system capable of managing part configuration information, registration information of owners and the like, and detailed history information related to articles and capable of utilizing the information for further various purposes. In addition, to provide an IC (RFID) capable of transmitting not only product information previously given from the outside but also information indicating the current state of a product itself.

Article management system

A fluctuation warning unit for issuing a warning when fluctuations of the tire pressure per unit time exceed a predetermined threshold fluctuation, and a detected value warning unit for issuing a warning when a detected value of the tire pressure has fallen to a value below a predetermined threshold detected value are provided. For example, air leakage may be recognized rapidly, and abnormalities of air pressure may be recognized even when a faint air leakage occurs wherein fluctuations of the tire pressure per unit time do not exceed the predetermined threshold fluctuation.

Tire pressure detecting system

A tire air pressure detecting device has a tire air pressure detecting device on a wheel. A main transmitting device is provided at the wheel for transmitting an air pressure signal SP to a vehicle body. A main receiving device is provided at the vehicle body for receiving the air pressure signal SP. A main switch turn-on detecting device is provided on the vehicle body for detecting the turn-on of a main switch. A second control device is provided on the vehicle body for receiving the air pressure signal SP and a main switch ON signal Son. An auxiliary transmitting device on the vehicle body transmits a transmission instruction signal SR to the wheel when the second control means receives the main switch ON signal Son. An auxiliary receiving device on the wheel receives the transmission instruction signal SR. A first control device is provided for reading a new air pressure signal SP. When the main switch is turned on, the state of the tire air pressure can immediately be recognized. The main transmitting means is not required to transmit the air pressure signal at all times or increase the frequency with which to transmit the air pressure signal. Thus, the consumption of the battery at the wheel can be reduced.

Tire air pressure detecting device

In a sealant-containing tire, an outer liner is fastened to an inner surface of a tread of a tire body, and a sealant chamber that is filled with sealant is defined between the outer liner and the inner liner, with an air chamber filled with air also being defined within the inner liner. By making the inner liner of flexible rubber of a 300% modulus of 60 kgf/cmor less, not only is a puncture in the inner liner caused by a nail made smaller, but the puncture is rapidly made smaller after withdrawal of the nail so that the flowing out of air from the air chamber is delayed. The flexible inner liner can easily be deformed by the air pressure within the air chamber and the sealant within the sealant chamber is therefore rapidly pushed into a puncture of the tread by the air pressure, thereby effectively repairing the puncture.

Tire containing sealing agent

An end of a hollow member is connected to an air valve for introducing air into a tire. A detecting and transmitting unit for detecting an air pressure in the tire and transmitting pressure information out of the detecting and transmitting unit is connected to an opposite end of the hollow member. A detecting and transmitting unit is mounted on a hub of a wheel portion. The positioning of the detecting and transmitting unit minimizes any deviation from the dynamic balancing of the wheel. Consequently, the air pressure detecting device for a wheel can be subsequently installed on the vehicle.

Air pressure detecting device for wheel

An airbag apparatus for a small size vehicle that includes an airbag, for constraining a driver on a seat from forward motion through an inflation expansion, that reduces the number of parts and achieves miniaturization of the apparatus while constraining the driver on the seat. The airbag includes a main bag portion and an auxiliary bag portion communicating with the inside of the main bag portion through a connecting hole. The auxiliary bag portion is inflated and expanded with gas exhausted from the main bag portion through the connecting hole.
