A biometric system includes: a camera that captures a subject; a pressure information collection unit that detects a pressure value of at least one sole of the subject; a skeleton direction vector calculation unit that calculates a skeleton direction vector of the subject captured by the camera; a floor reaction force vector calculation unit that calculates a floor reaction force vector on a basis of information on pressure from the pressure information collection unit; and an analysis result output unit that displays, in a superimposing manner, the skeleton direction vector calculated by the skeleton direction vector calculation unit and the floor reaction force vector calculated by the floor reaction force vector calculation unit.

Biometric system and method

The present invention provides a sphygmomanometer system, including a measurement device pressed against a predetermined part to be measured so that the part to be measured is held down, and a blood pressure measurement device to measure blood pressure based on information from the measurement device. The measurement device includes an average blood pressure detection unit to obtain information on pressure applied to the measurement device, and a blood pressure change amount detection unit to detect a minute change of the part to be measured when the blood pressure change amount detection unit contacts with the part to be measured. The processor of the blood pressure measurement device calculates the average blood pressure, the highest blood pressure, and the lowest blood pressure based on information on pressure obtained from the blood pressure change amount detection unit and the average blood pressure detection unit.

Sphygmomanometer system

An apparatus for evaluating a vascular endothelial function, includes: a cuff pressure controlling unit configured to perform continuous pressure stimulation on a part of a body of a subject for a predetermined time, by using a cuff adapted to be wrapped around the part of the body of the subject; a cuff pressure detecting unit configured to detect a cuff pressure from an output of a pressure sensor connected to the cuff; a pulse wave detecting unit configured to detect a pulse wave from the output of the pressure sensor; and an analyzing unit configured to evaluate the vascular endothelial function by comparing vessel viscoelastic indexes which are obtained from the pulse wave detected in two of zones before, during, and after the pressure stimulation, and which exclude an amplitude of the pulse wave.

Apparatus for evaluating vascular endothelial function

An apparatus for evaluating a vascular endothelial function using a first cuff that occludes an artery of a patient, measuring pulse waves from pressure of a second cuff at a different position than the first cuff, and evaluating the vascular endothelial function using the pulse waves.

A vessel wall monitoring apparatus includes: a first detecting unit which detects vessel diameter information based on first biological information obtained from a subject; a first producing unit which differentiates the vessel diameter information detected by the first detecting unit, to produce a vessel diameter function; a second detecting unit which detects blood pressure based on second biological information obtained from the subject; a second producing unit which performs a logarithmic operation on the blood pressure detected by the second detecting unit, to produce a logarithmic blood pressure function; and an outputting unit which produces an impedance model expression by using the vessel diameter function, the logarithmic blood pressure function, and mechanical characteristic values including a stiffness, viscosity, and inertia, and which calculates and outputs at least one of the stiffness, the viscosity, and the inertia based on the impedance model expression.

The memory unitmemorizes waveform data about the time change of fingers tapping motion that is obtained by a motion sensor attached to a subject person who does the fingers tapping motion that is repetition of the opening and closing motion of two fingers of one hand. Motor function estimating system, motor function estimating method and program

In a bioinstrument system S of the present invention, a processor unitin a bioinstrument deviceobtains information indicative of displacement of two fingers in deformed state from distance between the two fingers; and calculates a finger-tapping force by using the obtained information and a predetermined fingertips' stiffness function retrieved from a storage unit. This provides a method for inspecting for neurological disorders in consideration of the finger-tapping force.
