The object of the invention is to prevent the quantity of airflow by a fan from decreasing in dependence on the distance between the fan and obstacles such as an engine in a device for introducing and discharging cooling air having a shroud with a high covering rate. In the device for introducing and discharging cooling air having the shroud with the high covering rate, an airflow direction changing member is provided downstream of the fan, and each fixed blade of the member has a shift angle in the radial direction and an attack angle in a rotation direction of the fan, so that the air tends to be discharged outward in the radial direction.

An end plate of a tank whose inside is partitioned by a partition has a plurality of insertion holes receiving connecting portions of tube elements. In the end plate, a first projection is distended and formed so as to run through narrow middle portions of the insertion holes, and a fit groove for the partition is formed on the inside of the first projection. Even when a core of the heat exchanger is put sideways on a furnace in a heat brazing method, brazing filler material can easily flow into the gaps between the insertion holes and the tube elements inserted into the insertion holes. As a result, good brazing can be performed.

A method of producing heat exchangers that two heat exchangers are produced simultaneously in one assembly line, being provided with a tube element unit having a pair of intake/outlet portions on the both ends thereof, a pair of medium passages communicating between a pair of the intake/outlet portions and a cutting portion in a middle portion thereof, and a pair of tanks arranged on both sides of the tube element units, the tube element units being maintained by the tanks provisionally, after brazing, two heat exchangers being separated by cutting the cutting portion.
