An all-solid-state secondary battery, wherein: an anode current collector that contains copper or copper alloy; a cathode current collector comprising aluminum, aluminum alloy or stainless steel, provided opposite to the anode current collector; an anode active material layer formed there between from the anode current collector side on the surface of the anode current collector; a solid electrolyte layer comprising a sulfide solid electrolyte that contains a monovalent or divalent metal and sulfur; and a cathode active material layer formed on the surface of the cathode current collector are layered successively, is used. A sulfidation resistant layer is formed on the surface of the anode current collector on which the anode active material layer is formed. Or, the surface of the anode current collector on which the anode active material layer is formed has a compressive strength of 1250 to 3000 MPa.

All-solid-state secondary battery

To provide an electrolytic copper foil for a negative electrode for a lithium-ion secondary battery with which it is possible to produce a long-life lithium-ion secondary battery in which there is no decline in the capacity retention ratio even when the charge-discharge cycling is repeated, that has long life, and no deformation of a negative electrode current collector occurs. The electrolytic copper foil constituting the negative electrode current collector for the lithium-ion secondary battery has, after heat treatment at from 200 to 400&#xb0; C., a 0.2% proof stress of 250 N/mmor more, and elongation of 2.5% or more; and the surface on which an active material layer of the electrolytic copper foil is provided has been rust-proofed, or roughened and rust-proofed. As a result of analysis of the depth profile (depth direction) obtained by performing secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) in the thickness direction of the copper foil, the copper foil including: chlorine (Cl), carbon (C), and oxygen (O) each in a concentration of 10to 5&#xd7;10atoms/cm, and sulfur (S) and nitrogen (N) each in a concentration of 10to 10atoms/cm.

Lithium-ion secondary battery, electrode for the secondary battery, and electrolytic copper foil for electrode for the secondary battery

A chargeable and dischargeable secondary battery for use in electronic devices, industrial machines, electric-powered vehicles, is provided, along with an anodic electrode and a copper foil for anode current collector. It is an anode for secondary battery that utilizes non-aqueous electrolyte, which comprises a silicon-type active material film formed on one side or both sides of a current collector made of copper foil or copper alloy foil, wherein 1 g/mto 14 g/mof silicon-type active material film is formed on said current collector, and the lightness Y value in a XYZ colorimetric system (CIE 1931 standard colorimetric system) for the surface of said anode, onto which said silicon-type active material film is formed, is 15 to 50, and the surface roughness (ten point average roughness) Rz specified by the Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS B0601-1994 ten point average roughness) is 1.0 &#x3bc;m or more and 4.5 &#x3bc;m or less.

An object of the present invention is to provide a cathode active material which contains small-particle sized and low-crystalline lithium transition metal silicate and which undergoes charge-discharge reaction at room temperature. The cathode active material for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery is characterized by containing a lithium transition metal silicate and exhibits diffraction peaks having half widths of 0.175 to 0.6&#xb0;, the peaks observed through powder X-ray diffractometry within a 2&#x3b8; range of 5 to 50&#xb0;.
